Qiang Yong was walking through the garden. He fled without saying goodbye to Su Ning and even gave him two days to think about his proposal. On the one hand he felt like a coward, but then he thought it was the right thing to do.

The way he approached the doctor, he could easily refuse his request.
He wanted it to be anything but complicated, like dragging Su Ning with him and imprisoning him forever in the Fortress, then little by little he would love him...

Maybe he would do that if the doctor didn't accept it. He had no choice. Su Ning was his and he wouldn't let him go this time! He gazed at the plum blossoms. Its white tone softly tinged with pink in the center reminded him of the way the other's white skin flushed in his arms. Qiang Yong smiled, feeling his heart beat faster.

Since he woke up he couldn't stop remembering the moments of the previous night. He wanted to do it all over again. His sweet memories were interrupted by a few light pats on his shoulder.

"Yong-er, what's wrong? You seem so anxious." She was the Empress. She noticed the change in her son's behavior and his constant wanderings these days with Ren Loo.

But she didn't give her many details and she knew something was going on behind her back. Qiang Yong looked her deeply in the eyes, thinking about whether she should tell him.

His Adam's apple bobbed up and down and he then spoke slowly, considering his words.
"I found someone I knew during the war...and I love him, I-I confessed to him."
Empress "..........."

"OH! BY BUDDHA! In the end you already liked someone and I was wasting my time introducing you to so many yao! Yong-er, you should have told me that! I would have found that person for you even if she was in Hell!" (That's mother's love!)
"I looked for him, but I believe he did everything he could to not be found for a long time."

"And who is it? Why didn't you bring him here?"
"I-I gave him time to think about the answer... That person is Dr. Su."
Empress "................................."
"You and Dr. Su met in the war???? Why did you treat him so badly when he was here then???"
Qiang Yong was under heavy interrogation. He turned red up to his ears at these questions.

"I didn't recognize him right away, he was younger and wore a veil over half his face. Sect doctors often wear this." He explained. The Empress pulled him onto a stone bench and demanded to know every minute detail: how it was, when it was, when he discovered that it was the person he was looking for, how he confessed.

This last step Qiang Yong had to omit the fact that he used certain tricks to seduce the doctor. Even so, the Empress seemed dissatisfied and he feared that she would not approve of this relationship.

"What do you think?"
"It's okay that you gave him time to think, but why not here? You should have brought him with you! If he refuses, we will keep him here until he is convinced otherwise!!! After all, my son, you have many qualities despite his difficult temperament."
Qiang Yong "...................."
Author: "...................." (Dragons are so radical!)

"Hehe, ah! I'm so happy! I have two children now! Not that I didn't consider you before, you chose well. Although all that anger of yours was now justified. Good, good... How should I proceed now? Maybe I should Call him saying I sprained my foot!"

The Empress was daydreaming, already thinking about where to buy items to prepare for the wedding, what to make for the banquet, what to give as a gift, where to set up the nearest doctor's clinic..., then Ren Loo appears running.

Her face was very red after the race and she shouted almost breathlessly:
"Qiang Yong! I have urgent news! The Cultivation Sect has invaded Inperial City! They are going to overthrow the human emperor!"

Qiang Yong stared at her in amazement. A rebellion right now? It was exactly as Fei Muo predicted! Sooner or later, those cultivators would rebel.

He was apparently calm. What did human affairs have to do with him anyway? If they messed with yao then it would be his business... Then the emperor felt as if a weight had been thrown into his stomach. He had nothing to do with it but Su Ning wouldn't think the same way!

"F***! Sorry for the word, mom." He walked away with long strides trying to contact Su Ning, but the Empress followed him and Ren Loo came right behind
"What about the doctor? Can you talk to him?" The Empress asked anxiously. "Ah! Surely he must be involved in this after what you told me!"

"Ah! Has he already told this story? Apparently I'm going to have a brother-in-law soon!" Ren Loo celebrated.
"Su Ning won't stop helping the emperor... we'd better go there and offer our support! Can you talk to Huang Jia? She'll be of great help!"

"Yes! It's a good idea, I think besides us, our private army, and the help from the bird clan should be enough... I don't know if it's all the cultivators who are involved, it seems like only a part rebelled, but they're still cultivators, you can't let your guard down." Ren Loo said.

Finally Qiang Yong managed to contact Su Ning.
"Su Ning! Where are you?! Are you at the clinic???"
Su Ning "..............." Why was he so apprehensive? (Someone doesn't want to see their loved one taking risks, my son.)
"I'm not at the clinic... Well, you should know, I'm close to the walls of the Imperial City."

"DON'T LEAVE! Did you hear me???" (After that scream it was impossible not to hear it.)
"Uhm... Emperor, I..."
"I'm going there! Under no circumstances leave where you are! I'll find you and we'll solve this together! I won't be long!"
"I-it's fine. I'll wait for you."

Su Ning was truly embarrassed by this insistence, but Qiang Yong's imperative tone left no room for discussion. Was it another kind of show of affection on his part? Without noticing a strange feeling, he began to take hold of Su Ning's heart. I will wait for you. I'll wait for you to arrive.

Author's Note

I died laughing with son and mother thinking alike: "If he doesn't accept it, we'll confine him here until he changes his mind."
I think they could have married him by force. Ren Loo doesn't think differently either, for her, Qiang Yong should have already kidnapped the doctor as soon as he discovered that he was the one he was looking for.
