The Yao Emperor and His Human Doctor.

Chapter 30 - Back Home.

Su Ning was cleared by the Yao Medical Sect and was finally officially registered as an exceptional member. Lang Ko handed him a Wu Lou-shaped jade pendant [1] with the symbol of the Sect, as proof of his accreditation and expert level. Due to his high level of medical knowledge, Su Ning ended up occupying one of the highest levels in the Sect, and could even be consulted by other doctors.

He didn't expect to be so sought after since he was a human, but curiously, many Yao doctors were friendly and came looking for him to exchange contacts and then share information.
An Shu was sure that the change in behavior occurred after the resounding success of the qilin surgery.

Dong Lin also said a warm goodbye to Su Ning, making him promise that he would visit him soon in the future. After so many goodbyes, recommendations and bonds created, he, An Shu and the Emperor returned to the clinic in the mountains. The doctor was relieved to be able to return to the clinic. Not that the conditions at the Water Palace were bad, but he would like to be able to return to treating his patients soon.

The simplicity of his home was also much more pleasant to him. It was the first time that Qiang Yong visited Dr. Su and he observed that everything was very simple and modest, even the hot water pool in the center of the courtyard. "I'm tired, but resolving this issue comes first."
The doctor remembered that although the dragon's injuries healed quickly due to its regeneration power, it was something that required a lot of energy.

He also needed relief. He smiled mysteriously. “I think I have a way to balance both.”
"Really? And what do you intend to propose to me, Dr. Su?"
Su Ning responded slowly and after thinking for a moment, Qiang Yong nodded somewhat reluctantly.

He felt the energy of the energized water purifying and filling his meridians and he was forced to admit that it was a quick way to recover. The doctor even took the time to prepare tea for them. Apparently, he recovered well after a good night's sleep. He was full of energy. Qiang Yong laughed silently. At the water's edge, the Emperor took the cup with the comforting drink and thanked him.

"You pamper your patients too much." He couldn't help but provoke Su Ning.
"Um, a little attention doesn't hurt." Su Ning sat on the floor next to him and also helped himself. "I think we can discuss that matter."
Qiang Yong couldn't believe that he was there drinking tea with a human and energizing himself from the human's hot spring pool, so he shook off this absurd thought and focused on the investigation.

"Do you recognize that yao?"
"Hmm... I couldn't recognize him, actually. I knew some powerful yao who would know how to use those techniques, but they..." The doctor frowned thoughtfully.
"They?"
"They were isolated at the Western Border Barrier." He concluded. "I don't believe any of them would be able to escape it. It wouldn't be possible to cast the spell from inside it either."

The Emperor squinted his eyes. He was referring to the yao who rebelled against the peace agreement. They were really powerful and very aggressive, and on top of that he remembered that there were still two more leaders left to reinforce the barrier's protection key. The Phoenix Clan Leader had already warned him that he was going there these last few days, but the other had not yet commented. If this leader were not to do this soon, the barrier would weaken in his domain and might break.
