Chapter 46 - Deep Abyss (1)

Qiang Yong was blinded by hatred. Despite the ferocity of his strikes, little damage was added to Xing Ou Yang other than that caused by the heavenly tribulation invocation. The jiao was now extremely powerful and two dragons didn't seem to be enough to overcome it. Xing Ou Yang launched himself against Ren Loo's attacks, in addition to his own refined martial arts, he could count on the transformations that his body acquired after devouring the yao of the Barrier.

Extending a long serpent's tail, he batted it away, leaving her semi-conscious and before Qiang Yong cut him across the neck and held his wrist and with the other claw he hit his left side.
The Emperor clenched his jaw tightly, feeling the skin in the area burn as if being torn with a hot iron.

"This is just another guarantee, in case you can get out of this. But I think this war is already won." The jiao whispered to him with a mischievous smile.
The dragon looked at him with contempt, recognizing this kind of dirty trick.
"You will pay for being subjected to humans, Qiang Yong!" This time Xing Ou Yang let all his anger and resentment show.

Qiang Yong prepared to react but a long, slender, shining figure attacked Xing Ou Yang from beneath them. The jiao was surprised when his arm was grabbed and pulled up, with the intention of dragging him along. He felt that something was wrong, the ground was more slippery although the snow had been scattered with the consecutive attacks and the floor of the courtyard where they were could be seen.

The Emperor looked at that specter, was it a... spiritual animal?
It was a gigantic sturgeon! Ren Loo who had regained her senses after her son ran to help her from a snowdrift also saw him. Perplexed, she thought she was imagining things. Then, before her feet she saw that there was a large expanse of water pooling on the patio floor. She cursed even more in surprise.

The sturgeon had come out of that water and knocked Xing Ou Yang down, diving again, he wanted to drag him to a depth that apparently only he could dive into. The jiao realized that his arm had sunk up to the elbow in that illusory water and he understood that it was another trick from that damned Sect. He threw his claws at the sturgeon to free himself from it and rose quickly.

"What are you planning to do you little f*** cultivator?! Without your spiritual weapon you are nothing! You are not even remotely more powerful than me!" He shouted angrily and looked for Su Ning, but the doctor had disappeared from everyone's sight!
All the yao were shocked. How did they lose sight of the most important person at that moment???

"I don't need to be the most powerful." The doctor's voice came from the water and his hand grabbed Xing Ou Yang's heel. "I just need you to make a mistake." Xing Ou Yang looked in surprise at that pale hand as it pulled him down as the sturgeon appeared from behind, jumping over him.

"Dragon! Get away!" Su Ning shouted.
Qian Young jumped back, obeying. Xing Ou Yang sank into the formed water mirror but he still resisted. With the strength of his arms he struck, trying to free himself, making everything around him shake and the ground break like an earthquake.

"Damn! What's going on anyway?" Ren Loo looked at the ground sinking into a large crater.
"This technique... It's a water seal, Deep Abyss." Qiang Yong watched from afar, not only did the ground collapse, the water sank along with it. Little by little the fog began to disperse. The Emperor looked at the crater becoming deeper and the surroundings of the courtyard becoming more visible again. He then jumped inside.

"Qiang Yong! He told you to stay away!"
The Emperor clung to the crater wall.
"I won't come close. But Xing Ou Yang is still resisting and this technique will consume all of the doctor's qi. I will make sure he comes back alive!"
Ren Loo and Ren Shyu watched the Emperor leap to the bottom of the newly opened fissure.

Ren Loo smiled. Yes, it will hook your fish. The Deep Abyss technique was a very powerful seal, which consumed all of the user's qi for a time. Cultivators avoided using it for this reason and so few yao knew about it. Qiang Yong had the opportunity to hear an account about it once from his father. The cultivator would still need to have some requirements to manage it.

First, he must have an affinity for water. Second, he needed to have a spirit animal also related to this element. And third, the cultivator must enter a meditative trance to complete the seal to the end, which entailed having a mental cultivation strong enough to also be immersed underwater in the deepest darkness while the incantation was completed.

It could be seen that not just anyone could use this technique, therefore. And in the end, it was a spell that leaves him It was vulnerable to completion and if it wasn't completed well, the yao could escape and lose everything.

Su Ning had never used this seal to the end, he had only used it to practice. So now he put all his concentration into completing it without fail. This yao was too dangerous to remain free. The sturgeon reached what appeared to be the bottom and disappeared completely. Su Ning was also falling, but his body only landed on what appeared to be a sandy bed. He had no feeling in his limbs and no control over them.

He lay there silently, waiting. Everything was dark, but he had the impression that water was being sucked up where the catfish had disappeared. It was a point close to him, where a bright white array was formed. The seal was ready. The jiao was being attracted and sucked by him as if trapped in a vortex, there was no longer any escape.

Su Ning heard their screams and curses like vibrations in the water. So noisy. He was right, the water level had dropped and now he could see that he was inside a huge crater. The water would all be absorbed by the seal, dragging the jiao with it. This water was all his qi that he had in his body. Lying on his side on the floor, the water was already reaching half of his body.

Su Ning limply turned his head to the side. He could see Xing Ou Yang trapped at torso height in the array, still struggling to get out.
"DAMN IT! EVEN IF YOU ARREST ME AGAIN, YOU WON'T GET OUT OF HERE ALIVE!" With one last effort he raised his arm and launched the slashing claws, with the intention of cutting the doctor in half.

Su Ning was helpless and had no way to react. In any case, even if he died now the seal would not be undone. He donated all his remaining energy to complete it without hesitation. A yao like this would be the destruction of the world. However, the blows did not reach him, being intercepted halfway by another attack. Qiang Yong landed on one of the already dry parts of the crater floor.

Xing Ou Yang began to laugh maniacally. Only his head and one arm were sticking out now.
"Qiang Yong, do you still protect him? Today it's me, tomorrow it's you!"
The Emperor stared at him blankly. It was impossible to know what he was thinking at the moment. He then slowly walked towards where Su Ning was.

The doctor had already fallen unconscious before seeing the dragon's arrival as he used his energy to speed up the sealing.
"That person is mine. I will kill anyone who dares to hurt him. You should be grateful to him that I didn't have the chance to break up with you." He said to the jiao, as the latter's head finally disappeared into the matrix, along with the last trickle of water.

I wish I could have seen Qiang Yong kill this bastard😢, but Su Ning is always so merciful😑...
Sometimes the characters have a life of their own and rule the author 😅.

Explaining the technique, Su Ning summoned a spiritual animal to help him seal Xing Ou Yang, in this case, Chinese sturgeon (Acipenser sinensis), also known as "Chinese dragonfish", hahaha, what an affinity with dragons, huh?
The Chinese sturgeon is a freshwater fish that can grow to impressive sizes, with a length of up to 5 meters and a weight of over 500 kg. It has shiny scales and a large mouth, which could have been associated with the description of the giant mouth of the mythological Kun fish.

The water that appears is part of Su Ning's own spiritual sea, who used a large amount of qi to trap the jiao in a seal on the ground.
