The Yao Emperor and His Human Doctor.

Extra 2 - A rare flower (2)

Qiang Yong arrived at the swamp in the time of a breath. First he went to the village leader, to gather information about the lily. There really was a bluish lily growing in one of the deepest, muddiest parts of the swamp. They had never seen a species like this before.

Qiang Yong left Ren Loo collecting the miraculous mud that softened the skin and left with one of the frogs that had spotted the flower first to guide him. He crossed the muddy swamp with difficulty due to its size, pushing aside the low branches of the trees, until he reached a darker area well away from the village.

After a chi walk, he found, gently blooming under a tree, the lily of a beautiful sky blue hue. Qiang Yong smiled triumphantly and he took a moment to contemplate the new specimen. He couldn't help but remember Su Ning, a rare flower that he was lucky to find in this dark world...

He approached and gently pulled out the plant with the roots and some soil. He then returned to the village, to fetch Ren Loo.
"It's a really beautiful flower!" Ren Loo admired her, pulling with him a huge pot filled with mud. "I think the doctor will really like it."
"Are you thinking of taking the whole swamp? Aren't you just going to do a test?"

"Ah, I already tested it while you were away!" She massages her rosy cheeks. "In fact, the skin feels much softer and doesn't smell as bad as I thought."
The emperor laughed. Ren Loo was so exaggerated but after she gave him that pearl blessed by the heavens that time, he started to turn a blind eye to all her whims.

He returned in time for lunch but before that he secretly prepared a vase for the lily, without anyone seeing. At lunch he was all mysterious and happy. In the afternoon the clinic was in one of its rare moments without patients and Su Ning went out to read a new book that the Empress Dowager gave him as a gift on a mat in the garden. However, he felt a little tired after working hard all morning (and the night, by the way 😏) and ended up taking a nap after putting the book under the table next to him.

Sneakingly, Qiang Yong arrived to enjoy the scenery. He didn't get tired of seeing the doctor sleeping, but he felt a little guilty since the fact that the doctor was so tired was also his responsibility, for the most part. Under the open collar he could easily see the most recent bite marks. And there was much more behind the scenes.

What could he do? Every time they retired for the night, he couldn't resist. Seeing the doctor's tears spreading with pleasure was his joy. And seeing him like that, so calm and defenseless, he wanted to attack him right there. But that wasn't what he had come for! Proudly, he approached with his gift hidden behind his back and lightly kissed the sleeping man's tender lips.

“Hmm…” Su Ning slowly woke up.
"You must be thinking that I won't give you a moment's peace." The emperor laughed, nibbling his lip lightly.
"I married an insatiable husband. What should I expect?" The doctor kissed him back.
"It turns out I have something for you."

"I just need you. You've already given me a lot, you keep showering me with gifts." Su Ning wrapped his arms around the dragon's neck, pulling it toward him onto the mat. He didn't tell any lies, just like Ren Loo did with An Shu, he soon threw away all of the doctor's simple clothes (under the doctor's reluctance) and bought him an entire new wardrobe.

"Don't talk like that, you drive me crazy! You won't blame me later if I can't control myself!"
"I don't want you to control yourself, I want you to do whatever you want."
The two hugged each other tightly, just listening to each other's breathing and rapid heartbeats.

Despite the short time he was away, Qiang Yong hated to be separated from his beloved for even a moment. He could feel his breathing, his heart beating fast. He was alive. Just remembering that past situation made Qiang Yong freeze. He couldn't bear to continue living without the doctor.

Fortunately, now he and Su Ning shared a vital bond. They would live for thousands of years and die together, their energies were a harmonious mixture that helped each other (I know what type of energy it is).

"You're distracting me, close your eyes." Qiang Yong ordered. Theatrically, Su Ning covered his eyes. "They're closed, I won't look."
"Excellent!" Qiang Yong got off the mat and picked up the vase that had been left on the floor, hidden by the small table. He placed the flower on it.
"You can open it now."
Su Ning opened it, focusing his attention on the flower, he suddenly sat down on the mat.

He didn't think that Qiang Yong could be so delicate as to give him a flower. He didn't recognize the species, it looked like some kind of lily, the light blue petals turned white near the stems inside. It was very beautiful.
"It's a new lily type that was found in the swamp. When I saw it, I remembered you." He played with a strand of Su Ning's blue-black hair, eventually smelling it.

"It's beautiful! I've never seen a lily like that!" Su Ning observed the flower in detail, then smiling, he hugged and kissed Qiang Yong for a long time. The emperor was more than satisfied with his results. Su Ning left the flower in their room, next to the bed. He spent the afternoon analyzing it and decided to plant it the next day.

"I just hope you don't prefer to admire the lily instead of me."
"That's impossible to happen." The doctor laughed. "I can admire you for hours on end. I have the most handsome husband in the world."
"Look who's talking! I want to hide you here in the room so that no one else can see you."
"No one but you will ever set eyes on me. I've been single for over a hundred years, don't you know?"

"That's because you were terrible at recognizing flirting and didn't notice. If I hadn't advanced so blatantly I wouldn't have had the slightest chance of winning you over."
"I'm not so sure. When we were at the orchid house, I kind of... felt jealous..."
"Same?!"
"Yes, as I said, there were so many young ladies around him..."

Qiang Yong shut him up with a kiss. "I only have eyes for you, no one else has ever interested me and never will."
That night Qiang Yong wanted to let Su Ning rest, so he just kissed him several times and the couple fell asleep, hugging each other.
At night, around zi time, the blue lily, bathed in the moonlight, released its golden pollen into the room, filling the entire room.

Drooling over these couples' honeymoon, but there's definitely something coming 😅
