Qiang Yong only returned to Fortaleza at the end of the next day. Reinforcing his part of the barrier was exhausting work and he was in a bad mood.
Madam Ren was chattering happily beside him, recounting in detail the visit to the clinic and the koi pond.
Qiang Yong couldn't believe that Ren Loo let a human climb on her and he almost strangled her for it.

"Now everyone will know that a human rode a dragon!" Qian Young snorted, about to tear his hair out.
"Haha, do you really believe he's going to spread this to everyone? Let's make a bet!" Ren Loo laughed excitedly.
"I'll bet all his scales if he opens his damn mouth!"
"Done! And what will you lose if he stays quiet?"
Qiang Yong "................" The Emperor bitterly regretted falling for his sister's provocation.

"I know! You're going to apologize to him for trying to strangle him unfairly!"
"I will not do it!" Qiang Young growled.
The Empress was resting contentedly in the next room together with Ren Shyu who was reading the book that Su Ning had lent her. Hearing the noise of their children arguing was nostalgic and comfortable. They acted like this since they were children and would continue like this until they got older.

Ren Shyu was very similar to Qiang Yong in many ways, but physically he resembled his father a lot. The Empress thought sadly what he would be like if his father could have raised him.
Ren Huie had a reserved temperament, but he was also happy and peaceful. She remembered when he died... the hatred that burned in Ren Loo's eyes didn't go away until she killed the killer.

And that fire was still visible, deep in the eyes, as if it could be rekindled at any moment. A spark would be enough to start a fire. At this moment, Qiang Ling realized that Ren Loo was already talking about Hu Long, so she decided to go to the hall to join the conversation.

Ren Shyu remained in the small room, preferring not to get involved. Since the clinic visit he had been strangely quiet. The Empress entered the hall with her delicate and elegant steps and saw Qiang Yong carefully analyzing the golem. There was a wrinkle on his forehead. He looked up when he saw his mother enter. She questioned him with just one look. Qiang Yong let out a sigh.

"It's clear that the person who was controlling Hu Long is by no means weak. I intend to interrogate Hu Long later, perhaps he has some memories of what this person might have said or what he planned to do."
"She may also not remember anything, the remnants of the control spell indicate that it was a technique that used pain triggers to subdue the victim." Ren Loo warned his brother.

"That's so cruel...Do you intend to punish her, Yong-er?" The Empress was shocked by this information and asked in turn. Qiang Yong took a while to respond.
"There is no doubt that she was under someone else's control, there is no reason to punish her. Besides, she is already quite tormented by the feeling of guilt, is there any punishment worse than that?"

The Empress was inwardly relieved, but Qiang Yong continued his speech.
"However... I will leave the decision of whether to keep her as your servant or not in your hands, as I believe that after what happened you may no longer be comfortable with her services."
"Qiang Yong, you know me very well." The Empress smiled. "I would hardly treat Hu Long differently from others, much less be able to dismiss her. I know that this would be like you and I thank you for leaving this matter under my protection."

Qiang Yong was calm about his mother's attitude, although he agreed that he would feel safer pushing Hu Long away. Without anything else to say, the Empress returned to her grandson, so he could read a little more to her. She had already started studying the human language and had already memorized some characters.
"What are you going to do now Qiang Yong?" Madam Ren questioned him.

"I will interrogate Hu Long later. We need to find out who is behind this and why. Otherwise we will be at the mercy of other attacks." Qiang Yong replied.
Madam Ren nodded. "I'm going to spend a few days at the Palace of Magnolias, I'll see if everything is okay there. My servants may have some news about strange happenings."
