Extra 4 - Welcome to Fortress (2) - R18+

It took Ren Loo less than a shi to bring a large yellowish egg into the world and it rested in a cradle beside him. It hatched two weeks later, giving birth to a small, plump, pink dragonet.
"Oh! I got a sister!" Ren Shyu exclaimed in surprise. He could have sworn it would be another boy, although he was satisfied with a sister.

The baby looked a lot like Ren Loo, with her little golden eyes and black hair. She stared at Ren Shyu blankly and burst a small bubble through her mouth, which immediately fell like small snowflakes.
"Hehe, she reminds Ren Loo but she inherited her father's powers. I hope she has his temperament too, I can't stand another Ren Loo." Qiang Yong laughed.

Ren Loo grimaced. Since when did Qiang Yong and An Shu become childhood friends?
The snake was very excited about its first offspring and trembled just holding it in its arms. He kissed Ren Loo on the forehead and cheeks several times, thanking her. He then showed Su Ning the baby, his eyes brimming with tears as if it was the first time the doctor had seen her.
"Look Dr. Su... my... thank you very much doctor!"

The emperor couldn't help but laugh even harder. The way An Shu was, he would even thank the servants of the Fortress for ensuring Ren Loo's protection during the pregnancy. Mss even the tough Ren Shyu was like a fool now.
But both he and Su Ning were feeling very happy about this birth.

An Shu was Dr. Su has always helped him, which is why Qiang Yong's attitude towards him has changed a lot and not just because he is also his brother-in-law now. He also recognized that An Shu had many qualities and was a good stepfather to Ren Shyu and husband to his sister. He had nothing to complain about.

Snakes aren't so bad after all. He thought while playing with his niece's little hand.
"What are you going to call her?" Qiang Ling asked.
"I had an idea and An Shu readily accepted it!" Ren Loo clapped his hands. "Her name will be An Xue."
Su Ning stared at her in bewilderment, this time truly at a loss for words. The dragon smiled at him.

"It was Dr. Su's mother's name, right. Thanks to this wonderful woman, we have Dr. Su, who welcomed An Shu, who saved A-niang and Yong-er's lives, and today we can all be here together !Does the doctor have any objections?"
"Not at all." He bowed to her with moist eyes. "I am very grateful for this honor."

Qiang Yong hugged Su Ning affectionately from behind, looking at the happy family.
The satisfaction in her heart was overflowing and he wanted to be able to share it with the whole world.
And not just that, Su Ning was also happy, he could see that. At no point did the doctor seem sad and the Emperor realized that making the person he loved happy was the true meaning of loving someone.

The entire Fortress was partying that night, celebrating An Xue's birth.
Su Ning was on the balcony, admiring the stars, a habit he had done since he was a child. He liked the sky seen from the mountains, with nothing to obstruct the view.

His life had changed so much...it felt like he was living a dream.
The doctor was not alone in his contemplation for long. Qiang Yong soon hugged him around the waist, still drinking. The doctor smiled. This dragon drank too much and would soon be causing trouble!

Even so, he laid his head on his neck and let out a happy sigh.
Qiang Yong hugged him tighter.
"Something wrong?"
Su Ning looked at him fondly. In his eyes there was only Qiang Yong. He lightly pinched the other's cheek and laughed.
"Sometimes I think this is all a dream. But I can touch you and I see that luckily it's all true."

"Do I look like a dream?" Qiang Yong laughed.
Su Ning nodded. "A very good dream."
Qiang Yong shook his head, look who's talking.
"It seems the maids have been taking a tour of the Fortress." The dragon suddenly remembered, taking a sip of wine.
