𝐖𝐎𝐒𝐎 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐓.𝟐

Just go to sleep. (Leah Williamson)

It was international break, you and the rest of the england squad were going to play italy the next morning. You had all arrived in spain at the hotel, you got partnered up with Leah.

Usually she rooms with Georgia but georgia had no problem with sleeping with Alessia and Toone this time. 

"I heard we're rooming tonight?" leah walked up to you. You were at the front desk getting your room key. "Yeah, we are.." you said as the lady handed you your key.

You turned and grabbed your luggage. You felt someone tap your shoulder very aggressively. You knew exactly who it was by the aggressive tapping. You turned around and saw georgia standing there like a roblox character.

"Yes?" you said.

"Good luck.." georgia said. You looked and leah, you felt genuinely confused. Leah looked even more lost than you did. "What do you mean?" you turned to georgia once again.

"Good luck rooming with her.." georgia came up to your ear and whispered. Not really whispered at all, the girl talked in a normal tone. 

"I'm right here g..." leah said rolling her eyes. "There's a reason why i didn't wanna room with her...there's only one bed in your guys room." georgia revealed. "So? I think we can both manage to share a bed.." you said smiling at georgia. "Don't say i didn't warn you.." georgia walked back to alessia and toone.

"Let's just go.." leah said carrying her own luggage to the elevator. You walked behind her and you both got in the elevator. "Looks like we're on the 4th floor..." you said looking at the room key. The little flashing number got to the 4th floor and the doors opened. You both stepped out and walked in the direction of your room. Finally making your way to the door of your hotel room, you shoved the little key card in and opened the door. "Here we are..." you walked in with your luggage.

You walked in to the middle of the room, seeing only one bed. It was quite large so you didn't mind sharing. 

"Oh there is one bed.." you said going to your side of the bed. "That's not a problem is it?" leah asked going to her side of the bed. "Of course not, but uh..." you started unpacking your suitcase, taking one piece of clothing out at a time. "What did georgia mean by 'goodluck' down at the lobby.." you asked leah.

"She's just messing around.." leah said bringing her suitcase up on the bed and opening it. A few seconds later leah flipped her suitcase over and let all of her clothes fall on the bed. You stood there staring at what seemed to be 90% of leah's wardrobe from back home spread out on the bed. You didn't want to say anything but you just looked at all of it.

"Uh...are you going to organize that.." you gently said pointing at leah's clothes. "Yeah...i'm trying to figure out what i'm gonna wear for dinner...." leah went through the pile of clothes. "Ah..here it is.." leah picked out a top and walked away into the bathroom.

You stood there looking at the pile of clothes.

"Oh god.." you sighed and whispered to yourself.

Once you both came back from dinner with the rest of the team, you both changed into your pjs. Leah's side of the bed still had some of the clothes on it, the rest were probably scrambled across the room in small stacks. Leah had been in the bathroom brushing her teeth and getting ready for bed, you were already in bed ready to rest your body for the next day.

You were waiting for leah to come to bed to turn the lights off. 

Finally the blond walked out of the bathroom and you smiled awkwardly. You had never shared a bed with any of your teammates, let alone the captain. But leah wasn't weird about it, so you knew you didn't have to be either.

"I'm exhausted.." you sighed and reached for the lamp as leah finally made it into bed. Once you turned the lights off, usually you just closed your eyes and fade out into your sleep. But this night leah seemed to be very wiggly in the bed. 

"Leah...you alright?" you whispered in the dark. "Hm?" leah mumbled. "You're moving around a lot.." you pointed out. 

"Oh sorry...i'll stop." leah said.

"Thank you.." you whispered. 

You closed your eyes again and just a few seconds later again, leah began taking the blanket more to her side. You didn't mind it and just curled your feet up. 

A few seconds later you felt the bed get some weight off it. There was barely any light coming in through the window but you could see leah's silhouette move across the room. You took advantage and closed your eyes hoping to knock out before she came back. Unfortunately for you, when leah came back she hopped into bed. 

Literally.

She moved the whole bed and got under the blanket.

You cleared your throat making it clear you still hadn't fallen asleep.

After a few minutes, you had finally closed your eyes again. You could feel yourself going into a deep sleep when all of a sudden you hear a beeping sound. You sat up and turned the lamp on. You turned and looked at leah.

"Leah." you said in a normal tone.

"Yeah?" leah said innocently.

"What are you doing?" you said in an annoyed voice. 

"I can't sleep.." leah sat up as well.

"I can tell, but what are you doing." you asked again.

"...playing sudoku.." leah said showing you her phone.

"Leah...just go to sleep." you said turning the light off again. "I can't, i'm usually like this when i'm nervous..." leah said. You laid back down. "Then...let's talk about it, until you fall asleep." you suggested. 

"What are you nervous about?" leah laid back down on the bed and sighed. "I don't know i guess, just the game." leah said. "You're captain leah..." you pointed out. "That's why..." leah admitted. 

"You're nervous to be captain?" you asked. "Yeah....i haven't been england captain in a while..." leah said. 

"Leah, you're a great captain...sarina wouldn't have pick you if she didn't think you'd be a good captain." you reassured her. "I know it can be scary coming back to your national team after an injury but you have played well these past few days at arsenal...i think the whole team knows you're gonna do a great job...so you don't have to worry about it." you whispered.

You waited a few seconds, you didn't get a response back from leah.

"Leah?" you whispered. 

You heard breathing next to your ear, you didn't even want to accidentally wake her up so you just fell asleep right next to her.
