Alone time (Mackenzie Arnold)

You and your girlfriend, Mackenzie had been together for about 5 years now. The both of you decided it was time to start a family of your own. It was a process but you both wanted to be mother, you decided you would carry the child since Mackenzie was a professional football player, you didn't want her to stop doing what she loved. 

Mackenzie was hesitant about letting you carry, but she figured she could carry the second baby. If you were up for having another one. You had given birth to the most adorable little girl, Paige. The day she was born mackenzie was there for you every single step of the way. She was very helpful during the birth, holding your hand, talking you through it. She knew how hard it was carrying a child, she hadn't done it herself but she understood you. 

That was 2 years ago though. Your baby girl was 2 now, you couldn't believe how fast time went. It felt like it was just yesterday when you held her in your arms for the first time. As hard as it is to admit, you and mackenzie have had some rough patches ever since paige was born. It wasn't anybodies fault in your eyes, things like this always happened to couple after adding a new member to the family. You both hadn't had much alone time, that's why you were so relieved when your mom offered to watch paige for a day. She had offered before but you always politely declined, you didn't want to stress her out just so you could have a free day. But paige was a bit older now, and she was a well behaved little girl.

"Come here paige...you're gonna go with grandma okay?" you said handing the little girl a juice box for the ride to your mom's house. "Behave well okay...we can get ice cream when you come back" mackenzie kneeled down and kissed paige's forehead. 

"Come on paige..we're gonna go have a playdate with your cousin and then go to the playground" your mom said to paige grabbing her little hand. She started walking towards the door with paige, holding a little bag in her other hand. Paige turned around and waved at you and mackenzie. "Bye-bye mummy.." she said. 

Your heart felt like it had been stabbed, you loved her so much but you trusted your mom was going to keep her safe. Obviously as a mother, you thought differently now. You worried and overthinked a lot. You and mackenzie stood behind the door as your mom and paige left. You took a deep breath in and closed the door. 

You stood there for a few seconds until you felt a hand on your shoulder. You turned around and saw mackenzie smiling at you. 

"She's gonna be fine.." she reassured you. "I know...it's just that.." you said walking back to the couch in your living room. "It's her first time not sleeping in her bed..." you said sitting down on the couch. "Yeah but...your mom has a little room set up for her remember?" mackenzie said, sitting next to you on the couch. 

"Yeah...you're right." you said looking down at your hands. "Besides...we can finally have some.." mackenzie scooted closer to you. "Alone time." she said pushing a strand of hair behind your ear. You looked up at her and smiled.

You leaned in and pressed your lips against hers, her hand went up to your face and caressed the soft skin. The kiss was slow and passionate, she knew exactly how you liked it. You missed the feeling, the feeling you felt when her lips would be pressed against yours and how her hands made you feel. Her touch alone could make you feel butterflies in your stomach. Mackenzie continued pressing kisses on your lips, the whole house was silent. You could hear both of you start to breath faster as the kisses start to get more intense. 

Mackenzie pulled away and smiled, looking at your lips and licking her own. You looked down at her lips and they looked a bit puffy and pinkish. 

"I missed this.." mackenzie said.
