𝐖𝐎𝐒𝐎 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐓.𝟐

We're parents of the year. (Leah Williamson)

Leah was sitting down in the living room floor with your 2 year old baby boy, while you were finishing up cutting some fruit. "Leah you said you wanted grapes right?" you asked from the kitchen. "Yes sweetheart.." leah responded. You quickly put some grapes in the bowl of fruit.

"Here.." you walked over to where leah was and sat down next to her. "Thank you." leah smiled and kissed your forehead. "Jamie...you want some grapes?" leah asked your baby boy who was playing with his toys in front of you.

Leah took a grape in her fingers and showed it to jamie. "Grape." leah said. 

Jamie was getting to that point where he knew words. Small words, like mumma and mummy. Leah had been trying to teach him every word she could, but h wouldn't say any of them. "Say it jamie..." leah looked at the boy who looked completely clueless. "Leah i don't even think he knows what that is.." you said smiling at your girlfriend who was so determined to get jamie to say grape.

"He can do it..grape." leah repeated herself. Jamie stared at the grape in leah's hand, and tried reaching for it. He began crawling towards leah with her little hand out. 

Leah however put it in her mouth before he could take it. 

"Leah." you said sternly. 

Leah looked at you in the middle of chewing the grape. 

"Oh there's more...jamie say 'grape'." leah stuck another grape in jamie's face. Jamie was just staring into space at this point, it didn't seem he knew what leah was saying. "Grape." leah said once again.

Jamie reached for it again and leah ate it, again.

"Leah just give him a grape for god's sake." you laughed, at the sight of jamie looking at leah chew the grape he so wanted.

"He's not getting a grape till he says it." leah said. "You're gonna be that kind of mom." you said raising your eyebrows at leah. 

"Fine...here let me give you half..." leah took a smaller grape and bit half of it but she accidentally dropped the other half on the floor. 

"Ah shit-" leah said picking the grape up.

"Shih..." jamie said. 

You sighed and looked at leah. Leah's eyes were pretty wide she wasn't moving only her eyeballs looked over at you. You tried holding your laughter in but you couldn't take it anymore. 
"Leah!" you said as you smiled at your girlfriend. "He wasn't supposed to say that.." leah said with a smile on her face.

"We're parents of the year." you said 

"No jamie, you don't say that..." leah said pointing at the little guys face. Jamie started to frown. "Oh no no no...mummy was just kidding, say what you want.." leah picked jamie up and sat him in her lap.

"Oh he is so gonna have you wrapped around his little finger when he grows up.." you shook your head and smiled.
