Growing up you always had ella and alessia as olders sisters, alessia was your actual older sister but ella was always around so you just accepted her. The three of you were always so close until alessia and ella were improving in their football careers, eventually they made it pro. But that wasn't your path.

You had a different idea in mind, you always wanted to work in the medical field. You knew this day would come someday, the three of you would be seperated. You sometimes used to play football with them in your free time but other than that, there wasn't much football in your life.

Of course you went to their games to support both of them, they both played for man united so it was a win win, you got to see them both.

After some time, you moved away to go to uni. At first it was a good thing, you felt like it was a breath of fresh air. No parents, just your friends. You had all gotten an apartment, a 3 bedroom one. It all seemed fine but one day you felt so disconnected. Your friends kept trying to make you go out but you decided to stay at home most of the time.

They were pretty understanding, they weren't the type to drag you out. You knew there wasn't something right though. You figured you just needed to see your sister again, maybe a small visit would do the trick. Before visiting them something happened.

In the past you had thoughts about hurting yourself, you never thought you'd actually go through with it. It wasn't something you were proud of, you felt so abandoned. Nobody ever checked up on you, not alessia, not ella or your parents. You felt as if their lives were better without you in it.

You did a good job at covering it up, you put a bandage over it and wore a hoodie the day you got to alessia and ella's apartment. You had called alessia and told her you had a week off from school, you didn't. But she didn't need to know that.

You asked if you could visit for the week and alessia wasted no time, she invited you right after you said that.

________

When you first arrived at their place it was night time so you didn't have enough time to hang out or do anything really, the next morning they had training. You knew they'd be gone in the morning but they were coming back around 12.

You woke up to a text from alessia saying they'd just ended training and they were coming back home, she also told you to get dressed. You smiled at the text, something had definitely changed in your head. Something about just being around them made you regret what you had done before you came to visit.

You picked out an outfit and walked into the bathroom, you didn't want to see it but you knew you had to clean yourself up. You took the bandage up and stared down at your wrist, a rush of guilt ran through your body. You told your sister everything, you didn't want to tell her about this though.

You knew it would break her heart.

You snapped back as you heard a door open.

"We're back!" you heard ella yell as they entered the apartment. "Y/n?" ella said, you could hear her footsteps as she walked around.

"Yeah? I'm in the bathroom.." you said turning the water on and putting your wrist under the running water. "Give me a second." you said out loud.

"Alright, alright..i'm gonna change." ella said before you heard her walking away.

You looked down at your wrist, there was a bit of dried up blood but not much, you kept cleaning yourself, not daring to look at yourself in the mirror. All of a sudden you heard the door swing wide open.

"Can i wear th-" alessia stopped mid sentence, your head turned so fast. You turned the water off quickly. Alessia was staring right at your wrist. Before she could say anything else, you shut the door and sighed. "Alessia." you said.

You cleaned yourself up and put a new bandage on, you quickly took your hoodie and put it on quickly. You weren't sure if she saw it or didn't. Either way you looked very suspicious. You hesitantly opened the door and walked out, alessia was nowhere to be found. You walked out of the room and into the living room.

"Less?.." you waited for an answer. You walked over to ella's bedroom since you heard movement, but as soon as you walked in everything stopped. Alessia stopped whispering and they both turned their heads at you. You blinked at them and smiled. "Are you guys ready to go?" you looked at both of their kits still on.

Alessia turned to face you and a look of disappointment and hurt filled her face. "Y/n.." alessia breathed out. "What...um..." alessia scratched the back of her head trying to find the words. "Let it go less." you said.

"Y/n." ella said, a tone in her voice you didn't recognize. Ella sounded worried.

"You told her?" you looked at alessia. "Y/n, i had to..." alessia sighed. "W-what happened.." alessia asked. "Nothing-" you were quick to say. "That's not nothing." alessia looked down at your wrist, it was covered by your hoodie but she clearly did see something.

"Listen, i'm just worried...i know what i saw and- i don't like it...if there's something happening back at uni- please tell me.." alessia said. "It's..." you hesitantly said.

"I can leave.." ella said starting to head for the door. "No. Why would you leave.." you turned to look at ella. "Well- this seems like a very...intimate moment between two sisters.." ella said fidgeting with her fingers. "Ella please, you're like my other sister.." you sighed and blinked at her. Slowly ella came back and stood next to alessia.

"Listen i didn't mean for you to see it less...and i felt guilty not telling you, but since you now both know...the least i can do is explain what happened.." you said looking at both. They stayed silent and didn't move. "The truth is i don't really know what happened, it just did....but i did it because- i felt like shit." you said.

"I've been feeling that way ever since i moved away...i see you both on instagram having fun and i guess part of me felt a bit left out but then i also realized nobody ever really checks up on me that much anymore." you said looking down at your wrist. "And...i felt very disconnected...like i i wasn't a part of this family anymore-"

"Don't say that. You will always be my little sister...even if you move across the world to some random country..." alessia shook her head.

"...or the bottom of the ocean.." ella added.

You smiled a little and shrugged. "I'm sorry...this was a stupid mistake and i shouldn't have done that.." you apologized. "Don't be sorry.." alessia told you walking closer. "I just don't like how you didn't tell us anything at all.." alessia said.

"Yeah, you know you can tell us anything, anytime...we're here for you." ella reassured you as she walked over to you and rubbed your shoulder a little. "Thank you...it won't happen again." you reassured them. Alessia pulled you into a hug, you wrapped your arms around your older sisters waist. It felt like you were at home again.

"And feel free to visit anytime...i'll sleep on the couch if i have to." ella said smiling at you. "Thank you.." you laughed a little and hugged ella, she hugged you back as well and then you pulled away after a few seconds. Alessia smiled at you and rubbed your back.
