It was an early morning, you decided to go ahead and get up from bed since it was leah's day off. Usually on leah's day off you would go out and do something, but it was quite cloudy outside so you weren't sure.
"Wake up..." you lightly tapped on leah's shoulder. You heard leah groan and mumble something, you couldn't really make out what she had said. "I made you some tea..." you said.
"I don't feel like waking up for tea darling.." leah finally spoke. You sat besides her on the bed, sitting down on the edge. "Come on, it's your day off..." you reminded her. Leah finally turned to look at you, her eyes half open and she gave you a smile.
"You know, i'm actually feeling a bit tired from training..." leah said, you could tell she was hesitating in telling you that. "What do you say we just...stay in?" leah said, her eyes opened now.
You smiled and leaned down, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Of course we can stay in...besides-" you look over at your window, you heard small droplets of water hitting it. "I think it's...not really a good day to be out." you smiled down at leah. Leah chuckled and grabbed your wrist, placing your hand on her chest and caressing it. "That's England for you." she said with a smile.
"Yeah, guess i'll just have to get used to it huh?" you smiled down at her. "Actually, i think it's good that it's raining...sets the mood." you said looking at the window again. The rain wasn't pouring it was just a little drizzle, perfect for the season.
"Sets the mood?" leah raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, for autumn." you slapped her chest lightly and laughed. "Oh right...right..." leah smiled. You stood up and walked out into the kitchen, a few minutes later you heard footsteps approaching you. You felt a pair of hands fall on your hips, giving you a bit of squeeze. You smiled at the familiar touch, you finished preparing leah's tea in her favorite cup.
"Here you go..." you turned around slowly and handed her the cup of tea. She smiled and pulled you by your hip, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. "Thank you..." she said in a soft tone. You smiled and gave her a little nod. "You know what we should do..." you looked up at her, the idea had just popped into your brain.
"What?" leah asked, taking a small sip of the tea.
"We should watch twilight." you said with a huge grin on your face. You began walking to the living room, leah followed behind you like a lost puppy. "Y/n..." you heard leah say your name, dragging it out a bit. "Leah- we have to, it's fall." you said reminded her as if it was some kind of tradition, which it was, to you.
"Autumn." leah corrected you.
You picked up the tv remote and turned to look at her. "Fall." you said.
"Autumn." leah smiled at you.
"Fine- whatever..." you rolled your eyes and turned the tv on. "Let's see..." you squinted your eyes, looking for the twilight movies. "Please, don't make me sit with you...watching some cringey movies...for hours..." leah groaned and walked over to sit on the couch.
"Cringey?" you turned to look at her. "Excuse me, these are...very good movies...they might be a little...different- but that's what's good about them..." you scoffed and turned back to look at the tv. "They have vampires." leah furrowed her eyebrows.
"So? They have werewolves too..." you mumbled.
"Werewolves?...that just tops it off doesn't it?" leah chuckled.
You pressed play and walked over to sit beside leah. "You don't have to watch it...you can go..." you looked down at her, giving her a look. Leah stopped laughing, she looked at you with a serious facial expression. She shook her head and threw her arm around you, pulling you closer to her. "No, i'll stay here with you." she said.
You smiled and turned to look at the tv, the movie began. The rain started to get more aggressive outside, but you were too into the movie to realize.
______________
The movie was about an hour in, you were getting a bit drowsy but you didn't want to fall asleep and leave leah all alone.
"Hey, i'm gonna-" you sat up and looked at leah.
"Shh." leah hushed you.
You furrowed your eyebrows, a bit confused, looking at your girlfriend who seemed to be too focused on the movie. You scoffed and stood up from the couch, walking over to the kitchen to make yourself some coffee. You couldn't help but smile at the fact that leah was sucked into the movie, that's how it always was. You suggested something, she said she wouldn't like it, but in the end she was wrong.
You finished the coffee and walked over to the couch again, sitting down in your spot. Leah's arm pulled you back in, holding you close.
"Thought you didn't like these kind of movies?" you whispered. Leah poked your side and you let out a giggle. "Shh." she repeated herself. "Ow..." you said nudging her a little. Leah smiled and turned to give you a kiss on the side of your head.
