It was the day of your arsenal debut, being able to play for such a big club like arsenal was an honor in your eyes. Especially being able to follow in the footsteps of your older sister, Teyah. It wasn't a secret that you always got nervous when going out to play on the pitch, but this time it felt different.
You anxiety was everywhere, you tried to distract yourself by thinking of the aftermath. How everything will be okay after you play, but that wasn't enough. You kept thinking of all the people that were going to be out there and how you were gonna be seen by thousands of people at home.
It was too late to back out now, you were in the arsenal changing room. The girls were ecstatic to go out there and play, you wished you felt the same but your mind was going through a crisis. You were sitting down when they came in to tell you girls that they were ready for you, the match was going to start in a few minutes.
The girls started to walk out of the changing room but you stayed sitting there, your heart felt like it was going to pop out of your chest. Your breathing fastened and you looked around, the only thing you could do was play with your hands.
A few seconds later you felt a hand on your shoulder, it slowly rubbed the tension in your shoulder. You turned and looked, it was teyah your older sister. She was the only person you'd want to talk to right now. Teyah smiled at you and sat next to you and holding your hand. You felt a rush of comfort and smiled.
"Hey, everything will be alright." teyah said almost whispering. "I can't go out there..." you said shaking your head slowly. "Yes you can, you've been waiting for this moment." teyah said giving your hand a little squeeze. "I know but-" you were talking when she interrupted you. "No buts. We can do this together, you're not gonna be out there alone you know...i'm gonna be there." teyah said.
You suddenly felt yourself calm down for a second but nodded. "You'll be there.." you said. "Yes, and the rest of the girls...this is your first debut you're gonna do great y/n. After that it's gonna seem like nothing." teyah reassured you.
"Thank you." you nodded and smiled. "Okay now come on, the girls are waiting for us.." teyah stood up.
