𝐖𝐎𝐒𝐎 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐓.𝟐

I've been waiting for you to say it. (Katie McCabe)

You had been at a party, it was a really fun night out with your friends. Leah had thrown a party to celebrate winning the conti cup, you had gone with Katie, your best friend. Out of everyone at arsenal, Katie was the one you were closest with. 

But for some reason, this particular night you had seen something off about her, she had been ignoring you ever since you left to go get a drink to the kitchen. You had ran into alessia and started a conversation that lasted about an hour. Once katie found you and alessia alone in one of leah's guest bedroom, she walked out. 

You weren't sure what had happened but you knew she seemed genuinely upset. You excused yourself from the conversation you were having with alessia and she stayed back, you walked after katie looking for her. You spotted her walking out of the front door, all the girls were in the living room on the other side of the house. 

You followed katie though, if she was leaving that meant you'd have to leave as well, she was. your ride after all. 

"Katie.." you called out to her. She didn't stop for one second, she was walking down the sidewalk. You caught up to her and yanked her shirt making her turn around. "Katie." you said finally seeing her. "What the hell is your deal- i've been calling you for the past 30 seconds.." you. said. 

"What's my deal? What's your deal? What are you doing with alessia up in a room all alone?" katie asked, she looked infuriated. 

"We were talking..." you shrugged. "Sure..yeah sure you were.." katie smiled and shook her head.

"Why does it matter so much to you..." you asked her, katie looked taken back a bit. "It doesn't..." katie shook her head. "You're obviously upset, just tell me." you said. "I don't have anything to tell you y/n." katie denied it. 

You knew she was lying.

"Katie.." you tilted your head slightly looking at her. You started to feel droplets of water on your arm, you looked down and stuck your arm out noticing the little droplets of water on your arm.  "Katie, it's about to start raining..." you said. 

"Then, let me take you home...come on." katie said. "No, i'm not going anywhere until you tell me why this upset you so much..."you folded your arms. Katie sighed and looked at you. "I don't think you wanna know..."  katie said. 

"I think i do." you said. "Please?" you said.

"I like you." katie blurted out. You tried not to smile. "You like me?" you asked her. "yes, not in 'just a friends way' i like you more than that..." katie said.

You smiled and nodded, you started to feel the droplets fall harder. 

"What are you smiling about..." katie asked. "I've been waiting for you to say it." you smiled at katie. "What...you knew this whole time?" katie furrowed her eyebrows. "Mhm...i think everyone knew..you're not as sneaky as you think.." you teased her. 

Katie smiled and looked down. 

"So...what were you doing with alessia upstairs alone..." katie asked.  "Talking about. you actually...i was going to make the first move tonight, but you already did that."  you said. "You..." katie shook her head sideways slowly. 

"Me..." you smiled at her. You walked closer to her and pulled her by her neck closer to you. You pressed your lips towards hers and kissed her, katie's hands went down to your waist pulling you closer. You felt the rain start falling, you were getting drenched but you didn't care about that. Katie kept kissing you, giving you small delicate kisses until it started getting rougher. 

Your tongues sliding into each others mouths,  katie's hands roaming your body. You smiled in between kisses, you were both getting soaked but that's not what was on your mind at the moment.
