Who's your new friend? (Lucy Bronze)

You had been playing at barca for a few years now, it was your club. It was the club you started with and the one you were planning to end with. The teammates were very close, they were just teammates to you and friends of course. But you secretly made a deal to yourself that you wanted to keep things professional.

You had nothing against teammates that dated each other, mapi and ingrid were one of your closest friends. They managed to keep things professional, if you were to date someone on the team it would be a bit difficult in your eyes. 

That all changed when a specific someone joined barca.

Lucy Bronze, joined barca in the middle of 2022. The two of you instantly clicked, you found yourself having feelings for her. As much as you tried to get them to go away they wouldn't go away. You had a talk with mapi and ingrid and they managed to tell you to go for it. The worst that could happen is that it doesn't work out and then you two stay friends. 

You decided to go for it, one random day after training you asked her out. It was a normal dinner date, after that the two of you continued to go on little dates. Soon enough the two of you were inseparable. Lucy was the one to ask you to be her girlfriend on valentine's day, the day was filled with happiness, love, and a lot of physical touch.

The two of you had now been dating for 2 years, there was still so much love between you two. You seriously thought she was the one, she still was in your eyes. The one you'd fall in love with for the rest of your life the one you'd have a family with.

Your barca teammate, aitana had invited the both of you to go to her house for her birthday party. She said it would be something small with just her friends. Lucy and you had arrived, you were expecting it just to be the barca girls but she meant all of her friends. You instantly recognized some faces, old faces from the past. 

Aitana and you had gone to secondary school together, so you two had some mutual friends. Lisa, a girl you'd become friends with through aitana. She had this beautiful blond hair, and she was really sweet. She looked and was a cinnamon roll. 

You saw Lisa standing next to a guy, you squinted your eyes to see if it was her, and it was. Lisa smiled at you and walked over to you yanking you away from lucy unintentionally. 

"I've missed you!" lisa said over the music. "I haven't seen you in forever..." you said hugging her. "How have you been- how's football- oh you need to tell me everything.." lisa said with a tone full of enthusiasm.

You turned to your girlfriend and smiled.

"Luce is it alright if i catch up with you later?" you asked.

"Yeah-" lucy said. You instantly walked to the kitchen with lisa to get a drink. "I'll just stand here." lucy said looking around.

It had been about an hour since you left lucy and started to catch up with lisa. 

"I need to go find lucy.." you smiled at lisa. "Of course, god i'm so happy you're with her, she seems really nice." lisa said. "She is more than nice, maybe one day we can meet up and have like a double date with lucy and Adam." you suggested.

"I'd love that..i'll text you the details." lisa said. 

"Okay, bye bye" you smiled and excused yourself. You walked back into the living room, it was quite empty. The party seemed to have moved to the backyard, you walked out and saw your girlfriend talking with Ona. You smiled at them and made your way to them through the people.

"Hey.." you nudged lucy a bit.

"Hey." lucy looked down at you with a serious face. You blinked and looked away. Ona soon excused herself and went to the bathroom.

"What's wrong?" you asked lucy. "Who's your new friend?" lucy said, you knew that tone better than anything.

"Lucy. Don't be like that please.." you said holding her hand. "I'm sorry- i just don't like how she took you away from me." lucy shook her head slightly. 

"She didn't take me away from you....we just talked and caught up with each other." you said. 

"That all?" she asked. "Yes, i suggested we go on a date...with her and her boyfriend." you looked at lucy and tilted your head. 

Lucy's face relaxed and she smiled. 

"Boyfriend?" lucy asked.

"Yes, lisa is literally straighter than a wall." you explained.

"I'm sorry..." lucy looked down at her drink.

"Just kiss me to make up for it.." you smiled and squeezed her hand. Lucy came down and placed a kiss on your lips. It was dark outside already and you weren't working so this was definitely not unprofessional.
