You and Katie both played for arsenal, you got along with everyone on the team. You were more on the younger side but you fit in perfectly. You had been with arsenal for about a year now, you always went out with the girls if they invited you out. You had so much fun with them, except when katie interacted with you.

She always made these comments about you not being able to catch up with everyone, despite being with arsenal for a year. She continued the teasing even till now. 

That's one of the things that you hated about her, you knew she was joking but there was also a line that she always crossed. She'd sometimes make personal attacks, then the other girls would say she was joking. But you never saw her make any other comments at anyone else. You tried to keep your distance away from her, the way she was so cocky...she was the complete opposite of you. So you never saw her as anything other than a teammate.

You had just arrived with Alessia, someone katie was much closer to on the team. You tried to sneak your way out of the invitation but alessia begged you to come. Katie was apparently having a 'small' party, alessia said. You didn't feel like going but apparently every one of the girls was going to be there, and you didn't want to be left out so you decided to go with alessia. 

You only went as long as alessia promised to stick by you all night, which she promised. 

You figured katie was probably going to be busy hosting and she probably wouldn't notice you there, in her house.

"Alessia...you promise ot stay with me through the whole night...if you break the promise i'm not talking to you ever again." you said following alessia up to katie's front door. "I promise." alessia said smiling back at you. She knocked on the door and to no surprise, katie opened the door. It was her house after all.

"Ales-" katie stopped as her eyes landed on you. You looked at alessia and alessia looked at katie. "I didn't know you were bringing this." katie said, her eyes scanned you up and down. "Less." you folded your arms and looked at alessia. "She's joking.." alessia smiled at you. 
"Yeah- i can't really tell you not to come..you're already here." katie stepped out of the way allowing alessia and you to walk in. 

"Make yourself at home." katie shut the door and looked at alessia as she walked back to us, she turned to me and rolled her eyes walking away. 

"Alessia...this was a bad idea..." you said as katie left. "Y/n...calm down, hey let's go make ourselves a drink..hm?" alessia smiled and raised an eyebrow. "Fine.." you said. 

Alessia and you walked into katie's kitchen, all the bottles of alcohol were lined up on the kitchen table along with some cups next to them. Alessia went straight to it, she got two cups and started pouring some in them. "You know...this isn't exactly a 'small' party less..." you said looking around noticing some people you didn't even know. 

"Well..you know katie..but hey don't worry about that let's just have a good time. We won yesterday and it was our last game of the season. We earned it." alessia smiled and gave you a cup.

After some time, you had stayed back cleaning a spill that alessia had done. You turned around and she was gone, alessia had taken that 'win' from yesterday and ran with it. But you weren't judging her, you were having a good time until now that you lost alessia.
