We still care about you. (Mapi x Ingrid x Reader)

Warning: Mentions of injuries, angst? (Not happy ending)

It had been about a month since it happened. You were out injured, but it wasn't just any injury. You had done your ACL.

At the beginning you had received many texts and missed phone calls from your fellow teammates. You didn't bother answering to anybody. You didn't want to be around people who were doing what you loved to do. You wanted space, you didn't want to hear anything about football. You would obviously have to hear a lot about football if you continued talking to your teammates.

Not only did you stop talking to your teammates and were out injured but you had cut things off with your two girlfriends. It had nothing to do with you being injured, you guys all called things off way before that. Except, they were still together.

Ingrid was actually the first one to your side when you went down on the pitch, it was all a blur so you don't remember much. Not that you want to anyway.

You were completely alone. All the time, except when your mom would come visit sometimes but she didn't live in Spain so she couldn't be around much. Other than that, nobody checked up on you.

It was a normal morning you had gotten out of the shower, you learned to basically live off of one foot. You were able to walk now so that was somewhat helpful. You walked to the kitchen ready to make yourself breakfast. Everything was going normal until you heard a slight knock at the front door, you stopped all movement to make sure you heard right. 

You didn't hear anything for a few seconds, then you heard it again. 

You walked over to the door and opened it. You were expecting it to be a neighbor but it wasn't, it was Mapi and Ingrid. The three of you had been in a relationship but the three of you decided to call things off to not ruin anything or make it worse. Everything was fine, and you were all on good terms. That was until you found out that Mapi and Ingrid were still seeing each other. 

Once you opened the door and looked at them both, it felt like someone had a hold of your throat. You couldn't say anything. It was mapi who broke the silence. 

"Hey.." mapi said. You could see ingrid behind mapi, she was avoiding eye contact. "What do you guys want?" you said standing in the doorway.

"We wanted to check up on you.." mapi said stepping closer to the door. "Now? I did my acl a month and you just now want to check up on me?" you looked at both of them. Ingrid and mapi both looked down at the ground. 

"I think you guys should go..." you said reaching for the door when mapi pushed it back. "Mapi.." you shook your head. "You guys are not about to this." you said.

"Give me...let us talk please?" ingrid finally spoke.

"Why would i want to talk to the girls who i was in a relationship with...then broke up thinking we were all friends again...then i come to find out you two are still together.." i smiled at ingrid.

"Look...we get it, you don't want to see anyone right now especially not us but we want to make sure you're okay." mapi said. 

"Why?" you shrugged. 

"Because believe it or not, we still care about you." mapi said.

"I call bullshit..." you said trying to close the door again, but mapi put her arm against it.

"Can we come in?" mapi asked. "What part of all of this makes you think i want you inside of my apartment?" you said. "I want to be alone mapi." 

"Well we're not leaving you alone." mapi said. 

"Mapi.." ingrid whispered. 

You sighed and moved out of the way, allowing mapi and ingrid to step in. They walked over to the living room already knowing your whole apartment layout. You closed the door behind then and followed behind them.

"Okay...you came..i'm fine..can you leave now?" you looked at both of them. "Can we talk?" ingrid said. "Listen, you two are the last people i want to talk with right now..." you said. "And we want to apologize for that.." ingrid said.

"We don't want you to think that we wanted you out of the relationship..." ingrid started saying. "But that's exactly what you guys wanted." you said.

"No.." mapi said. "We still love you, i still love you y/n.." mapi reassured you. "Where are you going with this.." you asked. "We realized that we felt like we needed to cut things off, out of fear." ingrid said. You looked down at your feet not wanting to look at either of them. "We want you to be with us again..." ingrid told you.

You scoffed and looked at ingrid. "I was the one that told you in the first place, that this might not work and you were the one that wanted this...and then in the end you just wanted me out." you said.

"We didn't want you out y/n. We were scared that it might affect us...none of us had ever been in a relationship like this before..you can't blame us for being scared." mapi said.

"Well, i don't think i can do this anymore..how will i know you won't kick me out again?" you said.

"You two had always been closer to each other anyway." you said.
