I'd never do that to you... (Gio Queiroz)

"Y/n...just give me your phone." gio followed you into the living room. You had just gotten back from a little dinner that gio had invited you to. You didn't expect things to go south this quick though. "Gio...stop." you turned to her for a few seconds before sitting on the couch. 

"Why not...y/n, i'd give you my phone  if you asked me." gio sat down next to you. You ignored her and looked at the black tv screen. 

"I know what i saw..." gio said in a sad tone. She sounded more disappointed. 

You looked over at her, she had watery eyes already. You sat up and turned to face her fully. "Are you..." she began asking. You quickly interrupted her though. "I'd never do that to you..." you made it clear. "I love you too much." you sighed and looked down at the couch, you slowly rubbed your forehead and thought of what to do. 

"Y/n...i saw the message...it said 'does she suspect anything' i'm not stupid-" gio said. "Why are you even checking my phone...i went to the bathroom for a few minutes and i come back to you with my phone in your hands." you said, gio stayed quiet.

"Do you not trust me or something..." you asked her. "Is that really what you're worried about right now?..." gio scoffed. 

"Here." you took your phone out of your back pocket and threw it onto her lap. Gio hesitantly opened your phone, she knew your password already. You saw her tapping the screen and reading stuff. You sighed and looked at her trying to read her face. 

A few seconds pass by, you see her face light up. Gio looked up at you and smiled. You were fighting, trying not to smile. You were mostly just upset, but seeing her this happy wanted to make you forget all about it.

"Emily is coming this Saturday?" she asked sounding so enthusiastically. 

"Yeah. It was her who was texting me. She wanted it to be a surprise but you-" you stopped yourself.. Gio turned your phone off and scooted closer to you. "I'm really sorry...i didn't mean to ruin it..." gio apologized.

"I'm even more upset about you thinking i'd cheat on you gio." you said. 

"I'm sorry...but it just seemed..." gio paused. "It seemed weird to me...i know you'd never do that." gio looked at you, you knew she was being serious. "I'm really happy you at least tried to keep it a secret from me...i know how hard it is for you to keep secrets.." gio smiled. 

You looked at her and sighed. Gio's hand slowly creeped onto your lap, she took your hand and caressed the top of it. "Please don't be mad..." gio said. 

You smiled at her slightly and shook your head. "I'm not mad...just-" you paused. "Pretend to be shocked when she gets here on Saturday.." you smiled.

"I will." gio smiled and leaned in to press a gentle kiss on your cheek.
