It was a prank (Gio Queiroz)

"Don't even try following me..." you said walking out of the room filled with your friends laughing. You heard footsteps coming up from behind you as you walked to your hotel room that was just down the hall. 

"Oh come on, it wasn't that bad!" you heard leo, one of your friends, yell from the hotel room you were just in. 

You were currently on vacation, a group of your friends invited you over to spend a few days in hawaii. It was perfect, the view was amazing and the weather was perfect to be out in. You also had your girlfriend tag along with you, the both of you had the same group of friends so everyone knew each other.

"Baby..." you heard gio call from behind you. You ignored her and got your keycard out unlocking the hotel door. "Baby." she called out a bit louder than last time. You kept ignoring her until she walked into the room with you, she shut the door and grabbed your wrist. You turned to her and tried swatting her hand away, you failed.

"It was a prank." gio said. 

"I don't care..." you tried getting out of her grip. Gio smiled and let go of your wrist but then hugged you. "Come on...don't be like that..." gio whispered.

"Gio." you said, you never really referred to her in her name. It was usually some kind endearment that you called her. She instantly let go of you and stood right next to you. 

You walked over to the small kitchen in your hotel room and took a sip of some water. After a few seconds, gio walked in and stood there looking at you. You weren't looking at her but you could feel her eyes on you.

"What do you want gio?" you asked her, turning to face her. "Stop saying my name...you never do that..." she said walking closer to you. "Well...i'm not exactly happy with you right now..." you scoffed. "Come on it was just a joke...it wasn't-" gio was talking. "I don't care, why would you only scare me? You were the one that texted me to come up to their room...just for me to walk into a dark room and get the shit scared out of me..."

Gio smiled and tried to hug you. You gently pushed her back a little. "Stop..." you said.

"Y/n...i'm sorry...okay i would be a little mad too but..." gio paused for a second. "...You never get mad at me..." she said.

Gio was right, you never got mad at her. She was your girlfriend, you rarely had any fights or arguments with her. 

"That was until you jumped out of the dark and scared me." you folded your arms across your chest. "I'm sorry...i really am.." gio said, the genuine expression on her face made you realize she really felt bad. 

You couldn't stay mad at her.

"Come here..." you spread your arms out. Gio walks into the hug and wraps her arms around you. You hugged her and held her closely. "It's okay." you rubbed her back and kissed her forehead. 

"I knew you wouldn't stay mad for long..." gio smiled as she pulled away.

"You know i can't stay mad at you." you smiled.
