Farah's POV
"Ayos ka na ba?" tanong ko habang naghuhugas ng pinggan.
"Yup, feeling better." narinig ko ang pag urong ng silya. Sa tingin ko ay umupo ito roon.
Edi pwede mo na akong ikiss— tumikhim ako.
"Pagkatapos mo dyan, mag usap tayo." sabi nito.
"Tungkol saan?"
"Us."
"I still don't know. If I am willing to be with you again." I honestly said. Huminga ako ng malalim.
"I will do everything for you to come back to me—" napakuyom ang kamao ko at pinutol ko sya.
"I just can't get Sasha out of my mind." sinara ko ang gripo at nagpunas ng kamay. Humarap ako sa kanya. Seryoso na ang anyo ng mukha nya.
"You were with her for several years. I am afraid...na kapag hiniling nya sayo na bumalik ka sa kanya— you'll gonna do what you did to me five years ago. You are going to ask for divorce again. I saw her— in the news. She released a statement that she has child, nagtrending yun. Everyone is curious about the father of her child. And it's you, Phoenix. Anak mo ang batang iyon— anak nyong dalawa ni Sasha." hindi ito nagsalita. Tikom lang ang mga labi nito.
"And the child— ngayon ko lang naisip dahil naging masaya ako nitong mga nakaraang araw— he will be hurt about this." napahilamos ito ng mukha. His forehead creased.
"I will handle it. Sasha and I are only civil, ang anak ko lang ang binibisita ko. Noah will not be hurt, I won't let him be hurt. Just trust me with this, Farah. Okay? Please, wife."
Tumayo ito at lumapit sa akin.
"If you want to meet Sasha, I can arrange it. We don't have any feelings for each other now." napabuntong hininga na lang ako. Meeting Sasha?
"You can also meet Noah. He's a great child." he smiled when he mentioned his child's name.
"Does he...know about us?" tumango ito at hinawakan ng marahan ang pisngi ko.
"He knew that Sasha and I were not married. Pinaintindi na yun sa kanya ni Sasha mula noong bumisita ako sa kanya. But, he doesn't know the fact that... I am married to you."
Napatango tango ako. It will not be that bad, right?
"Phoenix." tinitigan ko sya.
"I have a secret." nangunot ang noo nito.
"Listen, if things will go well. I will tell you my secret." about the triplets. Malaki ang tyansa na magagalit sya pero kakayanin ko. I mean, we're at fault too. I thought we were divorced at nagkaanak sya sa isang babae, at ako naman, tinago ko ang mga anak namin ng limang taon.
He smiled.
"I will pursue you, Farah. Hindi ko nagawa sayo yun five years ago dahil pinikot mo ako but, it still not too late." sinamaan ko sya ng tingin.
"Drop the 'pinikot' part, Phoenix." umiling lang ito habang nakangisi.
"Ayoko nga. It was true. But yeah, di na rin naman pala masama." he chuckled. Kinurot ko ang tyan nito pero di ko nakurot kasi matigas. Andami ring pandesal na matigas sa loob— Stop it, Farah!
Agad na kumalabog ng malakas ang puso ko.
"If you say yes to me, I promise I will be a good husband to you. We will have a children and a happy family." I bit my lips when he mentioned the word 'children'.
"Then, pursue me, my husband." I smiled at him.
"I will kiss you." desidido nyang ani.
"Akala ko ba hindi mo ako iki kiss kasi mahahawa ako?" tinaasan ko sya ng kilay.
Itinaas nya ang kanang kamay at inilapit sa labi ko. The tip of his index finger touched my lips, nagtagal yun ng tatlong segundo. Binawi nya iyon at idinampi ang ang daliri nya sa labi nya.
"It's not a kiss." reklamo ko. He chuckled.
"Indirect but still a kiss for me, wife."
Niyakap ko sya. I felt his body stiffened.
"I know you don't like being hugged but I can't help. Ang saya saya ng puso ko ngayon."
Naramdaman ko ang kamay nyang pumalibot sa bewang ko.
"Yes, I don't like hugs and cuddles but— if it's you who will do that, then I can't say no, Farah."
Mahigpit nya akong niyakap. Natawa ako ng hinalikan nya ako sa ulo.
"Sabi mo bawal kiss." I pouted.
"I kissed your head. Hindi ka mahahawa ng lagnat ko—"
"But, you are hugging me. Mahahawa ako—"
"D*mn it, oo nga pala. Let it be, kapag nagkasakit ka, ako naman ang mag aalaga sayo."
