Farah's POV
"Phoenix, stop. We don't need to-" ini start nito ang kotse. Marahas akong bumuga ng hininga.
"Malapit lang ang ospital dito. Don't worry, you and your baby will make it-"
"Stop, Phoenix. Ang bag ko ang kailangan ko ngayon-"
"D*mn it! Think of your baby first!" sigaw nya sakin. He's mad- and worried. Lumalabas na rin ang veins sa sentido nito at mabilis ang paghinga nya. He's really worried.
"We need to go-"
"I'm not pregnant. There's no baby. I lied, I'm sorry." tuloy tuloy kong ani. Namayani ang katahimikan sa sasakyan.
"What?" tanong nya matapos ang ilang minuto.
"The bleeding...it is just my monthly period. I need to get my bag, may pads ako doon. And your car seat, I'm sorry, nagkamantsa na-" napapitlag ako nang suntukin nya ang manibela.
"Phoenix..."
"Lie...You lied again." bigo nya akong tinignan. Pagak itong natawa.
"You will lie, then you will found out, then you will lie again, then you will be found out- paulit ulit, Farah. Aren't you tired?" napakurap kurap ako. Parang kinukurot ang puso ko.
"Yes, I did hurt you five years ago. Pinagsisisihan ko yun hanggang ngayon. But, you made a mistake too. Tinago mo sakin ang triplets- ninakaw mo sakin ang higit na limang taon na makapiling sila. Then, you lied again na buntis ka at si Drew ang ama-"
"I had to do it para tigilan mo na ako."
"Is lying your hobby?" I gritted my teeth.
"Yes, lying is my hobby. But, those lies are acceptable- for me! Sa pagtago ko ng triplets, hindi sila nasaktan. As for the lie I told you na buntis ako, pinapalayo kita-"
"F*ck it! Why are you so f*cking determined to shoo me away?!"
"Because it will hurt Noah!" sigaw ko rito. Huli na nang marealized ko ang nabulalas ko.
Nagsimulang tumulo ang mga luha ko.
"I met him. I met Noah. The day of your birthday, he went to my coffee shop. He-he told me to- The kid...he is hurting. Your child is hurting to see you with other woman, Phoenix. Gusto nyang kayo lang ni Sasha. I kind of understand him, he just wants a complete family at hindi iyon mangyayari kung magiging tayo-"
"Do you love me?" my lips parted when he asked me that.
"You don't. That's why you didn't even bother to tell me about it. You should have told me. Sana nakausap ko si Noah. He will understand- I will make him understand. You can't even trust me. Nakaka g*go lang. Mag asawa tayo noong oras na yun pero gumawa ka ng desisyon na di mo manlang iniisip kung ano ang mararamdaman ko-"
"Sana din naisip mo yan bago mo kinama si Sasha." putol ko rito na nagpatahimik sa kanya.
"I tried not to be bitter about the past. Pero, nakakapagod din pala. You are blurting out things na para bang kasalanan ko ang lahat- which is not, may kasalanan ka rin, Phoenix. Parehas tayong may kasalanan dito."
Napakurap kurap ito.
"So, we are at it again. The past, huh? Fine, divorced naman na tayo." binuksan nya ang pinto at akmang aalis na...
"You are right. We just keeps on hurting each other. Tama lang na ipinasa ko ang divorce papers natin." aniya at malakas na isinarado nya ang sasakyan. Naiwan akong mag isa doon.
Hinawakan ko ang kaliwang dibdib ko kung nasaan ang puso ko. I thought I was healed from the past- pero noong marinig ko ang nga salitang sinasabi nya, parang bumabalik ang sakit.
I thought wala na, meron pa pala. Masakit pa rin pala. I thought there will be a second chance for us, wala pala. Maybe, it is not for us- never for us.
Sumandal ako sa upuan. Tinawagan ko si Drew.
"Hello?" a cold voice replied.
"Drew..."
"Are you crying?"
"Yes."
"Are you hurt?"
"Yes." tinakpan ko ang bibig ko, pinipigilan ko ang paghikbi ko.
"Where are you?"
"Are you going to come over?" pinahid ko ang mga luha ko.
"Yes, so I can see and hug you. I will wipe your tears."
"I'm sorry. Ang sama sama ko. You only do good things to me tapos ganto ang isusukli ko-"
"I am not expecting in return. I just want your smile. I told you, itatakas kita. And now, I think it is now the right time to do that. Wait for me, Farah."
