Farah's POV
I am now sitting infront of them. I was smiling, habang sila naman ay nakakunot ang mga noo.
"What are you going to tell us, Mommy?" tanong ni Calyx.
"Lying is bad. I told you, right? The truth is...I lied to you. Mommy lied to you. Your Daddy, he's still alive."
Gulat ang nakita ko sa mga mata nila.
"I'm sorry. You will not understand the reason right now, but I promise, sasabihin at ipapaintindi ko sa inyo paglaki nyo. Mommy is very sorry for lying to you." niyakap ako ni Calyx. Nakalabi naman si Pixes habang nakaiwas ang tingin. Si Faria naman ay nagpipigil ng iyak.
"Where is he, Mommy? Where is Daddy? Let's go, Kuya Pixes. We'll find him." pinigilan ko itong tumayo.
"You already met him." ani ko.
"It's Tito Phoenix, right?" nakangiting turan ni Calyx.
"How did you—" natigilan ako at napangiti na lang.
"Tito Phoenix?" magkasabay na ani ng dalawa. Tumango lang ako. Nanubig ang mata nilang dalawa, binalingan ko ng tingin si Calyx at umiiyak na rin ito.
"I am sorry, babies." lumapit na rin ang dalawa sakin at niyakap ako.
"It's okay, Mommy. We forgive you."
"We love you, Mommy. Hala, may sticky jelly is now on your clothes." ani ni Faria na nagpangiwi sakin.
Sticky Jelly is her term for sipon.
"Okay lang, lalabhan ko na lang, anak." I kissed her forehead.
"Hello, Phoenix?" kinakabahan kong tanong.
"Farah..." his voice sounds like a whisper.
"I already told them." natahimik ito ng ilang segundo.
"What was their reaction?"
"They cried— but they are happy. Very happy."
"I will go there— Stop, Sasha." he hissed. Naramdaman ko ang pagbigat ng puso ko.
What are they doing? Wala sa sariling binaba ko ang tawag. Hindi dapat ako mag isip ng kung ano. He told me that they are civil— why would I think of that? Hindi naman na kami mag asawa.
I just realized, hindi pa namin napag uusapan kung pano ang magiging set up naming dalawa. Maybe, it will be the same set up he has with Sasha? Staying 'civil' and visiting Noah from time to time.
Phoenix started calling me. Sinagot ko iyon.
"Sasha and I just had a misunderstanding, I was just telling her to stop because I am tired of her whines about staying in France with Noah." tuloy tuloy nitong ani.
"You don't need to explain—"
"I had to explain. I don't want you put a malice between her and I."
"Hindi mo naman na kailangang isipin yun. We are not commited to each other." natahimik ang kabilang linya.
"That's right. Looks like I am still thinking of the past— Anyway, susunduin ko kayo mamayang tanghali. Ipapakilala ko sila sa parents ko. Lola Victoriana will be there too."
"Sige." awkwardness. That's it. Ako na mismo ang nagbaba ng tawag. Wala na rin naman ata syang sasabihin na iba.
"So, we are going to meet Daddy's parent? Nandon din si Grandma Victoriana?" Faria asked. Kasalukuyan ko syang sinusuklayan.
"Yes, be a good girl there, okay? Kayo rin, Calyx and Pixes, be good boys." tumango lang ang dalawa.
"Daddy is there is too, right? I will shower him with a lot of kisses!" Faria exclaimed. She's too sweet.
"Magmano kayo sa kanila, alright?" they nodded. They all have smiles on their faces.
Huminga ako ng malalim. Tita and Tito will be upset pagnalaman nilang tinago ko ang triplets, but I have to face it, pwede ring magalit sila but I did this, tatanggapin ko iyon.
"Your ring is gorgeous, Mommy."
Agad ko itong hinawakan. Nagbaba ako ng tingin. Wala sa sariling nasuot ko pala ito kagabi. I was just staring at it. Admiring how beautiful it is on my finger.
"Binigay po ba sayo yan ni Daddy?" lumapit sakin si Pixes at hinawakan ang kamay ko.
"Yes, he gave it to me." I smiled at them.
Inihanda ko na rin ang sarili ko. Nangunot ang noo ko ng biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko. A text message.
I picked it up and read it. It was from an unknown number.
'Just found out that you have children with Phoenix. A triplets? I bet they are noisy. Come to the Deuxx restaurant today at 8 pm, let's talk. And by the way, this is Sasha.'
