Kellen
Marrying Rayne and making her my wife has been my plan for 3 years now.
It was all in the name of revenge for what she did to us, the suffering my sister and I went through because of her brother and her.
I knew she would be gullable enough to accept my proposal after she found out what my title in my country was.
I knew greed was the only thing on her mind.
For years I played her like the fool she was.
I wined and dined her, whispered sweet nothings to her and trapped her hook, line and sinker, until I knew she was madly in love with me and would not separate from me.
Her parents kept telling her, what a big mistake she was making but she didn't listen, she chose me over them.
She walked out their house and eloped with me, the man who played her all along.
Oh how I hated spending every day with her, the anger that coursed through my veins, day in and day out whenever I looked at her.
All I wanted was to hurt her in the way I was hurting, give her the pain, I was feeling, but for my sister's sake I did it.
Biting my tongue, I pretended to be infatuated with her throughout my time with her.
I am glad I managed to keep my promise to my sister.
Now I just have to make every single day, a living hell for Rayne to complete my revenge.
Getting married has always been the last thing on my mind and I had absolutely no plan on doing so until 2 years ago.
First my plan of revenge was to make Rayne fall in love with me, without knowing my true identity but after my grandma kept showing up with her bodyguards all the time, she managed to find out my true identity.
Watching the grasp that left her mouth, after finding out, I would be king one day, I knew what my next move should be.
I needed her to marry me, to make my grandma stop hounding me to find someone to marry and to make sure she knew who, she and her brother have messed with.
Looking around my room, I am reminded of why my sister Everly isn't with me right now.
Why she is at my castle in Castel del Monte on a wheelchair.Feeling exhausted with my thoughts, I decided to leave my room and go out.
Walking down the steps of my house, I could hear Rayne crying and banging on the door.
Standing there and staring at her door, I could just imagine the state she was in, but I just didn't care.
Going to the kitchen to find something to eat for myself, I bumped into my housekeeper Abigail.
Taking my hand, she looked up at me and asked,
"Why did you marry her, your Highness, if you were going to treat her this way?""Abi you of all people should know the state Everly is in because of her brother!", I said
"But Kellen maybe you should have spoken to Rayne about it or found another way to sort out the matter." Abi replied
"There is no other way!", I screamed
Bowing her head, Abigail walked away with a sad look.
I quickly grabbed some grapes from the refrigerator and ran up the stairs to go to my room.
Listening for Rayne's sounds to satisfy my conscience, I listened carefully, but all I heard was dead silence.
Wondering to myself if Rayne was doing something, I tiptoed to her door to listen more closely.
