(Chapter 47) It's Not Over Yet

Rayne

Walking outside with Rayne to the balcony, to show our baby to everyone, we waited till they all got to see her. People thereafter started shouting their praises for our family, Long live the future King and Queen with their princess of this country.

Waving at them, we invited them into the palace to dine with the royal family. The entire evening went by fine without any problems, we all enjoyed our dinner and as soon as I was done, I excused myself to go and change my baby's diaper.

Going up to the nursing, I saw a few of the cleaners, walking around, who I instructed to go and have their dinner.

Being left alone, I put baby down and started opening her nappy to change.

"Alone at last again my princess", I heard, stuck in my position, I couldn't react or move. All I felt was his fingers rubbing against my back, moving towards my front, pulling me flush against him.

Finding my voice, I asked, "What do you want Dario, why are you here?"

"I want you my princess and our baby, that is what I want!", Dario replied.

Putting on my baby's diaper as quick as possible, I picked her up before turning around, looking Dario straight in the eye, I said, "Dario, you should leave, you know that this palace is filled with guards, you won't get a chance to do anything without them seeing."

"Oh but you see, I would be able to get away with whatever I wanted because not a soul even knew I came in and if I leave, not a soul would even know anything as well", Dario said as he lifted up my face up by my chin. "Didn't you miss me baby?", he questioned

"No I don't Dario, please leave me alone. I belong to Kellen not you", I said as the tears ran down my face because I was very scared, I knew that Dario was obsessed with me and he was capable of anything.

Finding a gap to run, I took it and ran straight for the door, but Dario somehow was faster and he got to the door faster, shutting it. Taking slow steps towards me, he asked, "what's wrong princess?, Thought you could escape me didn't you?"

"Dario please just let me go... ", I begged

"Never, Rayne, I told you, you belong with me, not that worthless man"

Putting my baby down in her cot, I went up to Dario and took his hand as I said, "Dario you have got to understand, I love Kellen only, you need to let me go now, forget about me and I promise, I will let you walk away without anyone harming you."

Letting out a hilarious laugh, Dario said, "Rayne, there is no point in living if I don't have you in my life, so I don't even care if anyone has to catch me, they can do as they please, I am taking you and our baby back with me"

At that moment, there was a knock on the door, letting us know that someone was there.
Blocking my mouth, Dario pulled me against him, whispering not to make a sound or my baby will face the consequences, so I remained silent. After not hearing any response, the person by the door left. Opening the door as quitely as he could, Dario saw the coast was clear, so he pulled me into the hallway, making me run up the stairs to the 3rd floor. On the 3rd floor he opened a door and pushed me in, then only did he release my mouth. Hitting him, I said "My baby is alone there, she is going to wake up for me to feed her, I need to go back now, Dario"

"Rayne, we can leave the baby for now, I am sure Kellen will make a plan to feed her. Right now, we need to leave this palace", Dario whisper yelled at me.

"No, I need to go back now please Dario, I can't let my baby cry... ", I begged and cried to him

"OK, then I am taking you down to get the baby and then we will come back here, a helicopter will come soon to pick us up. I am warning you Rayne, if you know what's good for you and the baby, you will follow my instructions", Dario said to me.

Nodding my head, I told him "Ok"

Opening the door, he held my hand as he took me downstairs to get my baby. Just as we were about to enter the nursery, the door opened revealing Kellen who was mad as hell. Catching Dario by his collar, he asked, "So finally, I seem to have got you?"

Holding my hand tighter, Dario smirked at Kellen and said, "Seems like it Prince"

Calling the guards, Kellen asked for them to take Dario away. Dario still wasn't letting go of my hand, his fingers were still locked around my hand, seeing this Kellen, said, "Let go of my wife's hand now Dario, before I do something you would regret."
Still Dario didn't even budge, he held onto my hand as tight as he could. Out of nowhere, Kellen pushed Dario and in the process, my hand slipped out of his hold. Within a few seconds, the guards all caught Dario and held him, so he was unable to move.

Kellen ordered them to take Dario to the dungeon, but before they left, I asked to please not hurt him. Taking my hand, Kellen led me into the room. Going with him, I prayed nobody hurt Dario because as much as he was horrible in the beginning, but after a while he was good to me, he treated me well and he isn't a monster, he just loves me or actually is obsessed with me.

Holding Kellen, I told him, I knew he would rescue me. Kissing my nose, he said, "I wasn't going to allow him to take you away from me again" Feeling exhausted from the events of the past couple hours, I told Kellen I wanted to go to bed now.

Once Kellen got me into our bed, he kissed me before saying he will be back as soon as possible after sending everybody home. With a hmm from me, Kellen kissed me once more on my forehead before he left, closing our bedroom door behind him.
Moving in a more comfortable position, I smiled to myself as I drifted off to sleep, but within a few seconds, I felt myself being carried up. Thinking it's Kellen, I didn't bother opening my eyes until I heard his voice.
