Before you stepped foot in the apartment building, you saw your parents with crossed arms, and your sister smiled evilly.
"Finally, got yourself disowned. You're a disappointment to not only yourself but to everyone around you. Get out, we don't want you here," she said as you were going to try to reason with them, but you were cut off.
"Everything under our name is not yours anymore leave," your father growled as you had no choice but to leave.
You went to your bank and took out all the money you were saving for college, which wasn't a lot, but it was something. You bought yourself clothes and a phone but didn't put any of your friends' numbers in it because you knew they weren't your friends anymore. Your heart was broken, but there was nothing you could do besides grab a bus ticket to your grandfather's house. He lived on a farm on the outskirts of town, and you knew he would take you in. He had a soft spot for you and always had because you were the only one who wanted to visit or talk to him.
You arrived at the bus stop and then went to the bus stop closest to the farm. You had to walk a mile to the farm, but once you made it, your grandfather was on the porch. You opened the gate, and your grandfather got up to see you. He knew something was wrong because you didn't have anything with you.
"Y/n what happened to you?" He asked as you sighed weakly.
"My parents found out I was gay also I had a quirk. A very useless quirk that turned out to be useful for once. Can I use your phone? I need to call my work and see if I still have a job," you said as he nodded.
You called your work, and you had no job to return to because you made the men in your place uncomfortable well, just your supervisor as far as you knew, so you were fired for not showing up for work today even though you didn't have work today.
"Y/n, come here," your grandfather said as you sat next to him on the couch.
"Me and your grandmother were an arranged marriage. I am also gay and she knew that. I loved her so much, though, because she never forced me to do anything I didn't want to. Your mother and your two uncles are amazing, and I would never change having them because I got you. Life is never fair and will never be fair. People will hate you no matter what and will find reasons to. I never cheated on your grandmother even though there was a man I fell madly in love with. He was married to a woman, but we both knew we couldn't be with each other. Times are changing, and if they want to hate you for something that isn't your fault, then let them.
You are the greatest grandson I could ever ask for, and no matter if you have a quirk or if you're gay it doesn't define you; It's just a part of you. You can stay here, and you can work on the farm for a while until you figure something out," he said, making you smile.
But your smile faded as soon as he left for another room. You were heartbroken and angry at your coworkers for making fun of you and bullying you, your parents for putting in your head that people with quirks and gay people were not even people, and the villains for making you reveal both sides of you that you kept suppressed for so long.
You were mad, and all you could do was be mad. You lost your friends, your job, your family, your home. You lost who you were and wished you never released your quirk. All you wanted to be was a normal nobody who was average in school but graduated early because you made sure to take every class you could to do so. You had no time for anything other than school and did summer school on top of everything else. All your hard work meant nothing to everyone, including yourself.
All your friends went to your workplace and found out you quit, but one intern who was worried about you said you were fired for being late. You were on time every day except for once three months ago due to a family emergency. You called to let everyone know, and even then, you got sick of your parents, so you went to work. You were only three minutes late that day, so their firing you was bogus.
