"Hey, Y/n," Lee said as you smiled.
"Hi Rock! I thought you were going on a mission," you said as you were cooking, waiting for the others to return from the store.
"I finished it with my team already," he said as you smiled.
"You always finish early; here is this good?" You asked. You got out a spoon and put some curry on it.
"It is, but it's supposed to be spicier. Well, I like mine spicy," he said.
"Good thing I sent the boys to the store," you smiled.
"Once you are done with that, can you bring them to the practice area?" He asked.
"Practice area?" You asked, confused.
"Yeah, I got challenged by a sand village guy wanting to prove himself. So before you came around, there was another sand village guy who challenged me, and it was a tight match. But I ended up losing it, and he crippled me. But I got surgery to fix all of it. It won't happen this time," he said as you looked worried.
"I can be there and stop the match if you want," you said.
"No, thank you! Guy and my team will be there. I will be fine, I'm just letting you know so you don't come running to save me," he smiled.
"I'll get the bandages and things ready for you then," you smiled, but deep down, you were afraid for his well-being.
"Thank you! I better go before I'm late. I'm going to give it my all!" He said as he hugged you and then left.
"So when you kissed him, he didn't say anything about it?" Sakura asked.
"Nope... but it's okay he's still a great guy. I'll tell him maybe, but I don't want our friendship to be ruined," you said as she sighed weakly.
"I know how that is. I still can't believe you fell in love with him, though I was sure Naruto or Kiba would be more your type," she chuckled.
"He's nice, I didn't know I loved him until we practiced almost all night, and I told him something I really shouldn't have because it's the main reason why I'm here. It's not the arranged marriage thing either. I just... trying to explain it is hard, especially because it could kill me. I had to hide the truth from all of you about it, and I don't like lying to people," you explained.
"I know, but sometimes you have to. I'm glad you told someone, though. So what is this big secret of yours? Is it about your forbidden jutsu?" She asked.
"Yeah... hopefully, you never have to find out the hard way ever," you said.
"Who brought the spice we brought the spice!" Naruto yelled as he came through the window with Sasuke.
"Nice! Now let's finish this up and take it to Lee," you said.
It took ten minutes, but once it was finished, you put some into a container, and all three of them followed close behind you.
"Hi, Ash!" You said as the crow started flying close to all of you.
"It's so weird you have bird friends!" Naruto chuckled.
"How about that venomous snake she gave water to recently? You don't think that's weird?" Sasuke asked.
"Snakes are cool, birds are just weird," he explained, and they entered the building and went to the observation level of the arena.
"So after -" You paused as you saw Lee standing there.
You knew something was wrong just by looking at him, and the sand village guy was still going after him. You dropped the box and quickly went to Lee before even Guy or anyone else could intervene in the situation.
