Rengoku patiently waited for a letter to come to him, but none did. He was getting nervous knowing about the fight that broke out a couple of days ago.
"You look uneasy," Tengen said as he was watching one of his wives cooking.
"Y/n hasn't sent me a letter, and normally, I get one rather soon after visiting," he said.
"Oh, you have a crush on this girl, huh? A prostitute no less. Why don't you find a girl that's um less," he paused.
"I don't think she is what she says she is. Someone trained her to fight," he said.
"But she stays at a brothel," he said as Rengoku thought about it for a second.
"We fought some people a couple of days ago. I think she may have gotten arrested, I should go see if she's alright," he said as he got up.
"She has you under her spell, I want to meet this girl of yours," he said with a smirk.
"She isn't a demon," Rengoku said.
"I'll be close behind, I just need to talk to my wife," he said as he had other ideas in mind, especially after she bent over to get something from a basket.
"Alright, I'll tell her to make extra food," Rengoku smiled as he headed over to save you.
He didn't know what to expect, and he didn't know if you were actually in danger. He wanted to make sure you were alright nonetheless. It was getting late when I decided to use his fire-breathing style to make him go faster. By the time he got over the hill, he could feel a demon's presence in the area, making him concerned. He heard people scream in terror and then run out of the village. He started to head to the village and saw you fighting the demon while people were running.
You were struggling, and Rengoku quickly went to your side only to be knocked to the ground by a tentacle. He was about to get up when a tentacle came down and tried to kill him. You quickly blocked the attack with your sword before it took out his balls.
"Ice breathing first form! Frozen sickle slash!" You yelled as you cut up the arm, then got out your ninja stars.
You threw them into a second arm and then got out your crossbow. You started firing shots and got out your gun next. You shot its eyes, making it scream in pain.
"Run!" You yelled as you went into a building and got out your grappling hook.
You shot it at the monster's skull, then jumped off the roof and started swinging around the demon and capturing some of its tentacles, then tied it to a flailing arm. You hoped it was enough. You could cut off its head, but it broke free, and you went flying after it hit you. You were breathing hard as you saw the monster coming out of the hole it called home. You heard screaming and got your crossbow again as its babies came out dying and trying to kill you. You shot them down but missed one. You fell to your knees, tired, and Rengoku quickly used a breathing firm to kill it, making you look at him shocked.
"You're a demon slayer?! You never told me that," you said.
"I did, actually, but you didn't believe me," he smiled.
"Well, I've never seen a demon slayer since my master died. He said there were others, but I never got to know where they were, so I thought they all died out," you said as he helped you up.
"Are you still able to fight?" He asked.
"I may be a woman, but I can fight well," you said.
"I didn't ask about your capabilities. I asked if you had enough strength to fight. You haven't written me in a while, and you're bleeding," he said.
