The sun was starting to rise, and no one had any idea where you were. They couldn't go back and look at the footage of you to look for clues so they were stuck at square one. But Hodgins stayed up all night running tests on plant materials as well as bugs and slime. Wendell and Angela stayed at the lab along with all the interns going over everything again and again, hoping they would find anything. Wendell didn't smoke, but he wished he did at this moment. He missed you and blamed himself for not taking you home. He was there for your birth, there for your hockey games, spelling bees, and other events that were important to you. He watched you when cases were hard, and they had to stay up all night. He was like your second dad. Even when he got married, he wanted to be a part of your life.
Booth was looking at pictures of you and trying to keep his cool, but he was angry. He wanted you back and felt like a terrible father for not being able to protect you from his job. He was thinking about getting a safer job, but after doing this job for so long, he didn't think he needed to quit. His heart was broken, and he didn't know if he was going to find you alive.
"Found something!" Hodgins yelled, waking everyone up.
"What is?!" Temperance asked.
"These plants are from Missouri. However, we found this guy here," he said, making your mother confused.
"That's far away. Are you sure they are strictly in Missouri?" She asked.
"Some can be found in Kentucky, but this plant here, in particular, can only be found in Missouri," he said.
"Is that a road?" James asked as you nodded.
"Yeah, come on," you said as you were helping him along.
"We need to take a break you especially," he said.
"We take a break; we die," you said as you felt weak, but you didn't care.
You made it to the road and started walking on the road. Finally, you found houses, but then you heard a gunshot. A kid was walking on the road with his air pods in. He had short black hair and snake bites. By the looks of it, the guy had never seen sunshine before because of how pale he was.
"Get off the road!" You yelled as he wasn't paying any attention.
"Y/n get him off the road!" James said as you set him down and ran over to the guy and tackled him.
"What the hell?!" He asked you to take out his air pods.
"Where is your house? Me and my friend James and I got taken off the street and need a way home, and a psycho with a gun is chasing us!" You said as he looked at you and then at James.
"Hi! Sorry, she tackled you. She's intense sometimes," he said as you looked at him.
"Sorry, I'm about to have a meltdown or pass out, I am in a lot of pain right now," he said as you went back over to James.
You picked him up and carried him to the guy you tackled.
"Where is your house?! If I have to ask you one more time, I'm going to drag your pale ass!" You said as he heard a gunshot.
"It's the last house on this street. I have never seen you guys around. This town is rather small, so where are you guys from?" He asked as you didn't say anything.
"I have been up all day, I have seen things that would make you cry, and I'm also on the verge of a meltdown. Don't talk to me right now," you said as he saw your clothes covered in blood.
"Is that blood yours?!" He asked.
"Does it look like I'm dead?" You asked.
You went to his house and put James down.
