Shoto was now looking through the tests you were sending and what your father and husband-to-be were sending. All he could do was watch as you were getting verbally manipulated and hurt because if he tried to take you away from your family by force, you would probably end up dead. However, every time your future husband, who he found out was twice your age, was sending pictures he shouldn't have or asked you for some, Shoto would immediately go to your room so he could put a stop to it and make you have to say no.

What he put on your phone wasn't strictly legal, so what he collected might get dismissed in court. Still, he was documenting everything and putting it on a flash drive to blackmail your family into letting you go or to turn it over to authorities when it was safe for you to go, whenever that may be. He was going to talk to someone about it, but anyone in their right mind would tell a teacher, resulting in violence from your family and maybe ending up dead or other people ending in that way.

Shoto was trying to find ways to make you stay off your phone and find ways to get you out of your room so you couldn't send pictures to a creep, so your father and future husband would stop Bullying you, so you didn't feel alone, and to do everything in his power to keep you from hurting yourself or worse. He didn't think you were like that, but just because he didn't know you were doesn't mean you didn't feel that way.

Your school friends treated you the same, but kids outside your class weren't exactly friendly to you, which was adding to your stress. They blamed you for the bombing and even suggested you did it with you couldn't have because those bombs were strictly fired at you and would have killed your friends if you let them. School was getting more challenging for you, but so was home because your husband wasn't getting his pictures, and you were demanding him to stop sending you pictures because they were inappropriate, and you even said they were nasty, making him rage.

"Uh, I got to go to my parent's house tomorrow," you said as Shoto was complicating his schoolwork to keep you away from two predators.

"You don't have to if you don't want to," he said as Shoto got the answer wrong, making you sigh.

"Shoto, not to be mean to you, but you're acting like you've never done this before," you said, worried.

"It's just confusing to me," he said as you fully knew he was lying to you.

"Shoto, what's going on? Ever since I ended up in the hospital, you have been actively trying to hang out with me or help me with your homework when Bakugo is better at this, and Tenya. Are you worried about me or something?" You asked as your phone went off, and you finally said no pictures, and don't ask again before returning your attention to Shoto.

He said nothing, not wanting to spill what he knew was happening behind closed doors. Before he knew it, you put your hand on his forehead, making him look at you.

"You aren't sick," you said as his face turned red.

"What is going on with your face? It just turned red," you said as you got up and grabbed a washcloth.

You made it wet with your quirk and put it on his forehead. Shoto didn't know what to do or even say. At this moment, he realized he liked you not as a friend but more. Even though you were going through a lot, you were still very kind to people to the point of being a pushover. He was trying to help you because he was your friend, but there was more to it than that. He just looked at you, making you look at him, but confused.

"Shoto, are you feeling alright?" You asked as he snapped back to reality.

"Yes, sorry. Do you think we can go over Metaphors and Sarcasm? I think I have this down now," he said as he changed the answer to the right one
