Sean Lewis drove into the car park and parked his car. He got out and looked at the school. Grange Road school for boys. The school where he would be the deputy head teacher. He smiled as he walked towards the school. He was young, only late 20s but looked younger, and very good looking. He knew this of course. Sean had a very high opinion of himself. He was very intelligent too of course. No one could accuse Sean of being stupid. He was very confident in his own abilities. Who else would rise through the ranks from trainee to standard teacher and then straight to deputy head in such a short time and at such a young age? Sean smirked wickedly to himself. Well that bit of blackmail he had done to get such an early promotion to deputy hadn't hurt of course. But it was a shame everything got so messy at the old school

Sean shook his head in dismay and regret. Yes it really was a shame how everything had ended. But never mind now here he was in a brand new school and it was a fresh start

He just hoped, and prayed that the past would never come back to haunt him that was all. The very thought of it made Sean angry. He couldn't allow the past to destroy the future. And he intended to have a very bright and successful future

A while later Sean was sitting in the headmasters office at Grange Road school. A middle-aged-looking man in a suit was sitting behind the desk. He had grey hair and glasses and looked a bit like John Major the prime minister of the UK during the 1990s. The headmaster smiled at Sean''Welcome to Grange Road school'' he said in a posh but rather kind voice

''Thank you Sir its good to be here'' Sean replied

''I am Mr Adams the headmaster'' Mr Adams told him ''I will give you a tours of the school shortly and later I will introduce you to the boys during today's assembly. But first, I wanted to have a little chat with you about something''

Mr Adams attempted a smile and looked at some papers on his desk and looked a bit troubled by something. Sean felt nervous now he was sure he could guess what it was Mr Adams wanted to talk to him about and he had hoped this would not happen

'' I can't help but be a touch concerned about the trouble you had at your previous school and why you were transferred here'' Mr Adams said grimly ''I am a fair man and I always want to give people a chance. But never the less I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least slightly concerned about this''

Sean gave Mr Adams his best smile ''Of course, I understand why you would be a bit concerned about it Mr Adams, all I can do is tell you that there was absolutely no truth in those accusations whatsoever and I was not charged with anything. The whole thing was a lie the kids made up. I really hope I can put your mind at ease over this''

Mr Adams smiled back and appeared to be satisfied ''Yes of course. I just hope there will be no accusations made here. No history repeating itself'' he said in a soft but assertive voice

''I hope for entirely the same thing Mr Adams allow me to assure you of that'' Sean said ''we are in total agreement on this. It was all such a mess and best left in the past. The whole thing really upset my wife Michelle i don't want her going through anything like that ever again''

Sean glanced at his watch. A very nice stylish classic style watch with a brown leather strap

''Mr Adams, Sir, i don't want to appear rude but do you think perhaps its time the boys were introduced to their new deputy head master?''

''Oh yes of course you're right'' Mr Adams replied ''I'll get the boys together in the hall to meet you''

''Excellent''

They walked out of the office and began to walk up a corridor. As they walked they both found it difficult to know what to say to each other so walked in awkward silence for a while. Eventually Mr Adams spoke
