Part 48 - SERIAL KILLER Part 3

All the boys were gathered in the school hall as Inspector Grace spoke to them

''i am here to talk to you about a killer who has targeted two boys from this school'' he told them

All the boys were shocked. They knew about Jake but they did not yet know about Craig

Sean was standing next to the inspector with a concerned look on his face

''So far two boys have been victims of this killer'' Grace said ''Craig and Jake''

Jason and Callum were upset to hear that their friend Craig was the second victim. It was horrible enough with Louis being in a coma but now their other friend was dead

''Now we have no idea if or when this killer may strike again'' Grace continued ''but any one of you could be a target so its my advice that you stay careful and cautious and if any of you have any information for me do not hesitate to come to me at once. it could save your lives boys. Now any questions?''

Very upset Callum put his arm up

''Yes Son?'' Grace asked him

''Do you think this killer might kill more of us?'' Callum asked fearfully

Grace had to be honest with the boys. It wasn't fair to lie to them ''yes son i do'' he said ''These killings have all the hallmarks of a serial killer. They only have to strike one more time to officially be a serial killer so i want to try my best to catch them before that happens''

All the boys were silent and scared

''How exactly were Jake and Craig killed Sir?'' Jason asked

''They were killed, in a rather gruesome and brutal way, using a knife'' Grace told them ''It's probably best if you don't know all the details of what was done to the boys...rest assured we will do everything we can to prevent any of you being victims too!''

All the boys were freaked out

''Well do you even have any clues at all Sir?'' Billy asked

Grace shook his head and was feeling frustrated ''None really'' he began ''The only possible clue is that someone dropped a pair of black leather gloves near where Craig's body was dumped. Now no one is really sure if these gloves belonged to the killer or not but, because they were found near the body, its possible the killer lost their gloves by accident you see but we really don't know for sure''

The mood was very subdued all day. The boys were upset about Jake and Craig and also scared for their own safety  

Sean told Liam he was planning to talk to Cynthia about the holiday to Florida. Liam felt that it was bad timing and rather insensitive of Sean to talk about this right now but he bit his tongue as he often did   

''The silly woman has no idea i am only using her for her money. Once the money runs out i will dump her and Sally and me will get married'' he told Liam

''How much more money does Rigby have left Sir?'' Liam asked and he felt no sympathy for Cynthia at all

''Oh still quite a lot'' Sean said ''But i can help her spend it quickly. The quicker i spend it the quicker i can ditch her and Sally and i can announce our engagement''

''Don't you feel even the least bit bad about doing it to her Sir?'' Liam asked and he couldn't help but laugh as he said it

Sean laughed too ''Of course not boy. Do you feel bad for her?''
