Part 3 - MORE PUNISHMENT FOR LIAM

That night alone in the dark in his garage, with his spiders, Liam couldn't sleep. He spent the entire night thinking about what Scott had told him, and wondering what to do about it. Thoughts and worries went round and round in his head all night

When morning finally arrived Liam was feeling very tired and really wanted to sleep but he decided to force himself into school

Later that day Liam was in an English class with Sean

''Well boys'' Sean said 'This is the bottom set for English which means i have the thickest boys in the school in this class with me''

''Hey that's not fair Sir'' a boy protested ''I am poor in English but great in other subjects. i am not thick Sir!''

''SHUT UP BEFORE I PUNISH YOU BOY!'' Sean screamed in a rage

The boy shut up at once

There was a new boy in the class. He was standing at the front with Sean

Sean introduced the boy ''This is Darren, boys, he is new here today. You can sit next to Liam, that's the boy with the big ears, sitting alone in the corner like a loser''

The other boys began to laugh and Liam felt angry and stared at Mr Lewis. Liam really hated this guy more and more every day. 

Darren sat beside Liam and grinned at him ''Wow did anyone ever tell you you got big ears boy?'' he said

Liam rolled his eyes ''Yes all the time. You aren't the first and you really aren't as clever and funny as you think you are. I've heard it all before and it's boring'' he told Darren. Liam found it amusing that people would comment on his ears and think that they were the first person to ever say it when many others had said it over and over. Liam had concluded that most people deluded themselves into thinking they were much cleverer, funnier and much more original than they actually were. 

Darren wasn't about to leave it there. He wanted to annoy Liam more ''Ooh touchy!'' he said

Then Darren got a pen out of his pocket and grabbed Liam's ear and pulled it and started drawing a face on it. Liam pushed him away and tried to control his temper

''Don't put your hands on me like that mate, I'll knock you out'' he warned Darren

''Liam can you stop disrupting the lesson, please?'' Sean demanded

''I wasn't. it's this jerk here you should be telling to stop. You just sit there and ignore him pulling my ear and drawing on it and blame me when its not my fault'' Liam protested

''NO BOY I'M BLAMING YOU BECAUSE IT IS YOUR FAULT, YOU ARE A DISRUPTIVE MISFIT AND IF IT WAS UP TO ME YOU'D BE LOCKED IN A DETENTION CENTRE SOMEWHERE!'' Sean screamed at Liam

''You're just a fucking idiot'' Liam said

Now Sean really was furious ''Oh boy you've done it now'' he said ''Go and stand facing the wall, with your hands behind your bald head, boy and you can stay there for the rest of the lesson''

''Why should i go to the wall?'' Liam argued ''I was provoked by Darren. Why don't you punish him instead of me?''

''Even if that was true you just disrespected me. I warned you before that's the most serious crime you boys can commit. I will have to decide how to torture you for this. In the meantime get to the wall''

Liam felt scared of Sean. He hated to feel this and would try his best to hide it from everyone. But after what he had been told about him, and now Sean saying he would torture him, it was hard not to be scared. Liam moved off to the wall. He was angry and wanted to refuse but he was too scared
