Part 84 - AMERICAN SPORTS

''We'll just stay here for a while and wait until Sean gets away safely'' Dave said to Sandra while he kept a firm hold on her. Suddenly she elbowed him in the stomach

''AH YOU COW!'' he cried in pain and he let go of her. Then he tried to attack her but before he had a chance she kneed him hard in the balls

''AH YOU COW!'' he cried again and she hit him over the head with a block of concrete which had fallen off the wall in the derelict tower

Dave was now lying face down with blood pouring out of his head and Sandra had no idea if he was dead or alive. Nor did she care. All she cared about now was trying to catch up with Sean so she could get Jamie back. Quickly she ran out holding the concrete with the intention to catch up with Sean and fight him for her son

Sean ran down the stairs fast, with Jamie, and ran outside. He was expecting Freddie and the others to be waiting nearby in the car ready to drive away fast. But there was no sign of the car or Freddie

''Where are those idiots?'' Sean grumbled to himself

He ran around for a while to look for the car. The estate was like a complex rabbit warren of tower blocks, lower level blocks, sidewalks and alleyways. A true concrete jungle

Then he came to a dead end

''Damn this stupid place!'' he said angrily. He turned around and got a surprise. A very big surprise. He found himself surrounded by four people. Four very angry and aggressive people

''What the fuck!'' he said

He was trapped in the dead end and the four people were armed with weapons which they intended to use on Sean

Freddie was standing on a road on the edge of the estate when a car came flying up fast and two men got out of the car to meet Freddie

Sandra ran out of the tower block and there was no sign of Sean or Jamie as he had run off down one of the sidewalks already by the time she came out

''DAMN IT!'' she cried in distress and she ran around to look for them but she already knew he might have escaped in the car by now. Or even if he was still on the estate it was such a complex layout it might be impossible to find him now

She ran around for a while but there was no sign. Eventually she was exhausted and collapsed on a patch of grass to rest and she sobbed and sobbed as she thought she would never see her son again and Sean would abuse him like he did Matthew

Then she looked over towards where the other tower block once stood. Now there was a gaping hole in the skyline and some mist lingered in the air where the dust was still floating around from the demolition

''How will i ever forgive myself for pulling that lever?'' she asked herself in despair ''I can't bear knowing those four boys are dead''

She was ready to cry again now. She was truly heartbroken about the deaths of Liam, Stephen, Louis and Callum and about Sean escaping with Jamie

Then four people appeared suddenly and they were holding a baby

The four of them sat on the grass with Sandra and now she cried with joy and amazement

''How can this be possible?'' she asked in complete joy and happiness and could hardly believe it
