Part 12 - HELL FOR STEPHEN AND JOE

The day after dealing with Daniel Sean was having a quiet day at the school. He sat in his office and felt good about how life was going right now. He had punished Daniel and now he could focus on enjoying himself having James as his new football boy, having Reece on detention, having Matthew and Liam living with him, having Stephen and Joe under his control. It was all good. The only person making him angry was Michelle  

Inspector Grace arrived at the school in his car. Grace was obliged to investigate Michelle's accusations and he was also curious about whether they could be true. He had done a check on Sean and had those accusations about him killing a boy at Waterloo Hill School were all down on record. That set off some alarm bells. Sure Sean had been cleared for it but even so it was enough to make Grace interested.

Then there was the death of Mr Adams the previous headmaster at Grange Road. Any good detective would look at who had a motive to get rid of Adams and clearly the person who was given the promotion to headmaster after his death had the best motive. The only problem was Adams's death was ruled a suicide. There was a suicide note and it looked like the poor man just jumped. But Adams's wife had been adamant that he would not have killed himself and she had asked the police to investigate. The police just couldn't really do much given the evidence pointing at suicide. But now Grace was wondering about it

Inspector Grace made his way to reception where Cynthia Rigby was hard at work

''Good afternoon'' he said to her ''I have come to see the headmaster Mr Lewis''

''And who are you may i ask?'' Cynthia asked him ''I am not aware of anyone booked in to see Sean today''

''Grace took out his ID badge to show Cynthia ''I am Detective Inspector Grace and i must see him''

''Oh my goodness'' Cynthia said ''Is there a problem? Is one of our boys in trouble?'' Oh my god''

Grace began to lose patience with this silly woman 

''Look love can you just take me to see him please'' he ordered Cynthia ''I don't have all day to waste standing here''

Cynthia was offended by Grace's rather offhand and rude manner but she smiled politely never the less

''Yes of course Inspector''

Sean was in his office when there was a knock at the door

''Come in''  he said

Cynthia walked in with Grace

''Mr Lewis there is a detective here to see you'' she said

Sean was a little concerned. His immediate thought was that idiot Daniel had told the police that Sean was the one who punishment beat him and broke his leg

Cynthia left Sean and the detective alone

''How can i help you today?'' Sean asked him

''I have come about some very serious allegations that have been made against you Mr Lewis'' Grace explained

''Look whatever the boy said its a lie it really is. That boy is a compulsive liar''

Grace was curious ''Which boy is this? The person who made the allegations wasn't a boy it was a woman. Your wife to be precise''

Now Sean was shocked and even more angry with Michelle ''Oh well what did she say exactly?''

''We'll get to that in a moment'' Grace said ''First i want to know more about this boy who you thought made the allegations. Who is he and why did you think it was him?''
