Part 45 - HELL FOR DALE, JAKE, AND ROBERT

Building work had started to build the factory and warehouses Sean was planning for the school to put the boys to work in

Some of the boys, including Robert, Jake, Liam and Stephen watched the builders doing the work for a while during their lunch break

''Its really depressing that this is happening'' Robert said   

''But it doesn't effect any of us'' Liam pointed out ''We're all in the top 50 who carry on having normal lessons remember''

''Yeah but i still don't like it much'' Robert continued ''Its bad for the others and some of them are my friends. I'm sorry for them''

''Yes me too'' Jake said ''With the protection racket and the prefects making their lives miserable its bad enough but now they will soon be working likes slaves too''

''Lewis is evil'' Stephen said

''Well Andrews is not any better'' Liam said

''I think really its about time something was done to stop Lewis and Andrews and this evil regime they have here'' Robert said with fury

Jake shook his head miserably ''It was already tried before remember when Callum and some of the others protested on the roof and Darren even started a fire. That plan totally failed and Darren even went to prison for life''

''So it failed that time but that doesn't mean we can't try again does it?'' Frustrated Robert said. He really hated Sean and his regime even though he was in the top 50 boys and had it better   

''We should try again'' Stephen said ''I agree with you Rob, Just because it failed before doesn't mean it would fail again. Next time we might succeed in getting rid of Lewis''

''Exactly'' Robert said

Jake and Liam shook their heads

''It won't work'' Jake said ''Everyone is too scared of him to do anything''

''Yes right'' Liam said in agreement to Jake and then immediately Robert and Jake turned their attention, and their anger, to Liam

''Well you're his stepson right?'' Robert demanded. By now people knew and it was common knowledge that Liam lived with Sean as his stepson

''Yeah so?'' Liam asked

''So you on his side or what?'' Jake asked aggressively

''No not exactly''

''What does not exactly mean?'' Robert demanded to know

Liam sighed ''It means i don't like a lot of what he does but i am his stepson and i've got to know him better than any of you. I know how dangerous he is. I tried to fight him early on and i failed so now i know its better just to submit to him and not fight him''

''You weak coward!'' Robert said

''Careful Rob'' Liam warned him

''Why should i be careful? i am not scared of you Liam''

''Maybe Liam helps his stepfather?'' Jake said ''Maybe he is on his side all the time and even spies for him''

''Yeah maybe you're right'' Robert agreed with Jake

''No that is not true'' Liam said ''Really it isn't true''

''We only have your word on that maybe you lie'' Jake said

Stephen decided to support Liam

''No boys i don't think Liam would do that really'' he said

''Thanks Steve'' Liam said with a smile ''Us two go back a long way right''
