Part 6 - THE FATHER FROM HELL

Now that Sean was the headmaster it meant that Grange Road school needed a new deputy to replace Sean as deputy. The department informed Sean that a woman, called Christine Clements, would be the new deputy headteacher

Christine arrived within a few days and was eager to meet the boys and get on with the job

''I've always worked at mixed gender or all girls schools in the past'' she informed Sean when they met for the first time ''This is the first time i've been at an all boys school. I hope i can handle all boys!''

''The boys can be a handful but i have the solution for that'' Sean told her proudly ''The punishment regime here is nothing like how it is  in any other school. Its done properly here''

Christine was curious about this ''I am very interested to know all about it Mr Lewis''

''Well a boy can be punished with detention for 1 year or longer if he is bad enough'' Sean told her

''1 year oh my gosh that's very harsh''

''Do you disapprove of this?'' Sean asked her and he was hoping she wouldn't be a difficult one. He wanted an obedient deputy

''No i guess i don't'' She answered ''I mean its a bit of a shock but i guess you know how to deal with the boys. You know what they are like and i don't yet so i am sure you know what is the correct way to discipline and punish them''

''Exactly. Very good of you to understand this and understand that i know best'' Sean said arrogantly ''Not that you could do much about it even if you didn't agree anyway. I am the headmaster here and what i say goes''      

Sean was focusing on another important goal in life now. Now that he had achieved headmaster he was ready to achieve something else too and he knew he would win again 

''I have to take a day off tomorrow'' he told Christine 'It means i will have to leave you in charge for a day. I am sorry to do this so early on but i have important business to attend to''

''Its fine in fact i like being thrown in the deep end'' she said ''I do hope this business you need to attend to is nothing bad?''

''Oh no not at all. Quite the opposite in fact. If all goes to plan then my son Matthew will be joining us here at this school in a few days when he comes to live with me''

Sean bowed his head and looked upset for Christine ''You see Mrs Clements i have to go to family court to fight for custody of my dear beloved son who is 12 now. His mother took him from me and she is an abusive woman, She abuses my lovely precious son and i must fight and get him back and protect him from her''

Christine was horrified and she immediately comforted Sean

''Mr Lewis you poor man'' she said kindly ''You must of course do all you can to get your boy back and away from that abusive woman. I will be crossing all my fingers and toes for you tomorrow''

''Thank you but i know i can win. I know i can and will win''         

The next day Sean was done up in a smart suit as always. Michelle was with him

''Good luck today'' she said

''I won't need luck, Michelle, I'm going to win this I know I am. I will bring Matthew here today''

Sean looked at his watch ''I had best go now i have to drive there and i do not want to be late. I just hope i can trust Mrs Clements to look after the school for the day while i am away. It's only her second day and hardly ideal to leave her in charge so early on but i have to do this''
