Part 56 - BILLY'S PUNISHMENT Part 2

When Billy got home he quickly bandaged up his knees and put on trousers to hide the bandages.His knees were so sore that he could hardly walk and it was impossible to hide this

''Billy what is the matter with you?'' his mother asked when she saw the way he was hobbling around

''Nothing mum''

''Well why are you walking like that?''

''I just had an accident at school when i was playing Rugby that is all. Its no big deal and i will recover soon''

''Well if there is anything you need to tell me you will won't you?''

''Like what?''

''I don't know but i can tell you're upset about something and i can see you're injured and can hardly walk''

''I told you there is nothing to worry about and nothing to tell you''

Billy's mother wasn't convinced. She knew when Billy was lying and keeping something from her.And it was obvious he was hurt but she couldn't make him tell her what was going on

Billy's baby daughter Chloe was sleeping when Billy went to see her

''Oh Chloe darling Daddy loves you very much'' he said as he bent down to kiss her

Billy was terrified that Sean would do something to Chloe as part of the punishment he was going to give Billy. He had been worried about this ever since Sean had found out about her

''No come on man'' he told himself ''Quit worrying. Even Sean, as evil as he is, wouldn't hurt a baby would he?''   

When Sean went missing, and it looked like he was dead, Dale was happy and relieved as he thought he would finally be free from Sean for good. So he had left the school. For two blissful weeks Dale was living a life free from Sean and that was just the way he liked it

''Well you have to find another job now'' Elsie told him

''Yeah yeah no problem i will'' Dale told her. He wasn't having much luck finding a job but he didn't mind too much. He was happy to laze around for a while

Then Dale's peace and happiness was destroyed in seconds by a knock at the door

''Dale come here!'' Elsie called while he was in his bedroom relaxing and feeling pleased 

Dale walked out to where his mother was waiting outside his room

''yes what is it mum?'' he asked with a cheerful smile

''Come with me and there is someone here to see you'' she told him and took him into the lounge where Sean was waiting and now Dale was no longer smiling and no longer happy with life. At once he was plunged back into fear, misery and despair

''Mr Lewis?'' he mumbled

''Yes Dale its me!''

''Well i thought you were dead?''

''Well i'm not as you can see!''

''Isn't this wonderful'' Elsie said with joy ''I was so upset when Dale told me you were dead. Oh this is fantastic and a true miracle! Lets celebrate with a cup of tea and a slice of cake!''

''Well usually i celebrate with a nice glass of bourbon but i understand you prefer non alcoholic drinks'' Sean said

''I will go and make the tea and i have a lovely Lemon cake!'' Elsie said and rushed off to the kitchen
