THE HEADMASTER FROM HELL

Part 41 - DAY OUT Part 2

They arrived at the Punishment Museum and Sean was excited but he noticed all the miserable faces ''Cheer up everyone'' he said cheerfully ''This will be a very interesting visit!''

''I don't even understand why we came here Sir'' Robert moaned ''I mean like what is the point Sir?''

''To find out all about punishment of course!''

Everyone went inside and began to explore the museum. The boys didn't like it much. It was not only boring but also depressing. But for Sean it was interesting

''Well this is a guillotine'' Sandra told a group of boys she was with and they were in the ''Capital Punishment'' section. Stephen and Liam were among the group ''It was used for capital punishment. The poor person who was killed would have their head secured inside and then chopped off''

''Yes Miss we know what a guillotine is'' Stephen said and rolled his eyes

Sean was in another part of the museum with some of the other boys, including Louis, Jake and Robert, and they were looking at the dungeons. Of course they were not real dungeons only replicas but they felt very realistic and scary

''Imagine being locked in here'' Sean told the boys

''Yeah it would suck to be locked in a dungeon like this'' Robert said

''I really don't like it in here very much'' Louis said

''Don't worry Lou'' Jake told him ''We won't be here for long!''

Then the lights, which were already very dim, went out and the entire dungeon was pitch black. The boys screamed

''WHAT HAPPENED SIR?'' Jake cried out ''WHY DID THE LIGHTS GO OUT!''

''i don't like it here!'' Louis said ''I want to leave''

Sean was still there, in the darkness, with the boys and he just laughed

''I would like to put Mr Lewis's head in this guillotine and chop it off''Stephen said and everyone laughed but Stephen wasn't laughing or joking he was very serious

''Stephen you must not say something like that'' Sandra said even though secretly she felt the same way ''Its a terrible thing to say''

''Well he is a terrible person and i will say it because that is how i feel'' Stephen said coldly ''I hate him he is a very evil man and if i could i would kill him''

No one was laughing now they all stared at Stephen in silence

''I need to get out of this stupid museum'' Stephen said at last ''I need some fresh air''

The punishment museum was too hot and really quite unpleasant. It was clear that whoever designed and opened it deliberately wanted to create an unpleasant and oppressive atmosphere as part of the ''punishment'' theme

Stephen began to leave and Sandra rushed after him. Stephen bumped into Alan, showing a group of boys the cat o nine tails in the corporal punishment section, on the way out 

''Where do you think you're going in such a hurry young man?'' Alan asked him

''Outside'' Stephen said in a rather offhand tone

''You do not have permission to go outside'' Alan told him

''Oh get stuffed idiot!'' Stephen said and carried on past

''YOUNG MAN GET BACK HERE AT ONCE!'' Alan called after him in anger

Sandra arrived ''Leave him Alan i'll go after him and talk to him''
