THE HEADMASTER FROM HELL

Part 32 - THE SCHOOL INSPECTORS Part 1

Sean decided it was time to make an offer to buy the school and make it his private school 

He had a meeting with the department and told them what he wanted to do and he would use some of Judith's money

''I want to buy the school and make it a private school no longer under the control of the local education department'' he said ''I have the money just make me an offer for the school and i will pay''

''Well Mr Lewis its not as simple as that you know'' the man at the department said ''You can't just buy the school that easily''

''Why not?''

''Well first we will need to send some inspectors to the school to check everything out'' Sean was told ''They will observe how you run the school, talk to the boys about you, and they will write a report at the end. If the report is positive about you we will let you buy the school. But if its negative then sadly you will not be allowed to buy the school''

''Ok yes i see. And if the report goes in my favour and i will be permitted to buy the school how much money are we looking at''

''Probably in the region of half a million, give or take, are you sure you have the money for it?''

Sean was smiling and very happy indeed. Half a million was fine indeed. He had over a million so he could easily buy the school as he thought  

NOTE - There are times when i am writing this that i make stuff up just as part of the story. I really have no idea if Sean would be allowed to buy the school in reality or what the actual process would be if he was. Often i just make something up as part of the fictional world haha. I don't think that fiction needs to be realistic its all just fantasy .     

Later on Sean told Sandra and the rest of the staff his plans to buy the school and his rather radical plan to focus on the top 50 most intelligent boys. But he left out his other plans for the time being. He didn't want the teachers to know just yet that he was planning to fire half of them and his plan to put the boys to work

''So i really want to focus on the top 50 boys those are the ones with the best chance of going to Uni'' Sean said ''We must improve this schools performance in exam results and we must make sure more of our boys go to Uni. There is just no point wasting time on the hopeless boys''

''This sounds rather outrageous to me'' Sandra said ''We can't possibly write so many pupils off like that''

''Well i am headmaster and i say we can''

''But what will the other pupils do while the top 50 are in lessons?'' Alan Murphy asked

''They will still have classes'' Sean said ''It's just we won't be wasting time trying to teach them anything. We will give them text books to copy from and make them sit there and do this pointless work while we focus on teaching the top 50''

The inspectors arrived at the school a few days later. There were two of them. Mr Smith and Mr Ferguson and they were both young and attractive and both dressed in very  smart suits the same as Sean 

''Nice to meet you and welcome to Grange Road school'' Sean said and shook hands with the two inspectors

''We must say its a very ambitious plan of yours to buy the school'' Mr Smith said

''It will be hard work for you to run a private school'' Mr Ferguson said

''I am prepared for it'' Sean said ''I can really do a lot with this school once i have full power and control of it''
