Part 17 - THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS Part 1

Finally the day every boy at Grange Road school had been looking forward to arrived at last. It was nearly the end of July and the 6 week long summer break was starting. 6 whole weeks away from school. No Sean. No Darren, no lessons, no getting up early every week day. Just 6 weeks to chill and have a lie in every day and have fun

Every boy was excited. Reece was practically laughing with joy as he was finally getting a break from detention although he knew it would carry on when the Autumn term started

The only two boys not happy were Liam and Matthew. The true horror of their situation was very clear now. They would not be escaping from Sean for 6 weeks, there would be no break for them. They would be stuck with him, and Judith, all summer   

On the first day of the holiday Sean and Judith revealed their plans for the holiday

''We will get married now'' Sean told the boys ''Judith's divorce from Clive and my divorce from Michelle have both come through and nothing is stopping us from getting married so we plan to be married over the summer''

''Isn't that just wonderful'' Judith said

''And you two will spend the whole summer serving as our slaves'' Sean said 

''That's when you're not locked in your shed'' Judith added with a grin

''You're both grounded for the entire 6 weeks'' Sean told them ''You will not leave the house unless for a reason''

Both boys were bowing their heads with faces of pure misery and Sean and Judith just laughed at them both   

Liam and Matthew just felt so depressed and thought of all the other boys having a fun and Sean free summer for the next 6 weeks ''I hate those two' Liam said later when he and Matthew were locked in the shed ''I just knew they would do something like this, ground us both and make sure we have a miserable summer''

''Well we're in this together'' Matthew said ''And look Liam i know we haven't been getting on so well but maybe we should put our differences aside and try and be friends and support each other''

Liam nodded his head and agreed ''Yeah man i agree''

They smiled at each other

''We will officially be step brothers soon it seems'' Matthew said  

''I really love you and i can't wait to marry you'' Judith said as she hugged Sean in bed

''i love you and i can't wait to marry you either'' Sean lied in reply. Sean really couldn't stand Judith but he was happy to have Liam as a stepson so he could keep an eye on him and also make his life a misery. He was also interested in Judith's money. Judith had sold her house for £300,000 but she had also revealed to Sean that she had over £1,000,000 saved in the bank. This had been quite the most thrilling news to Sean. Thrilling but also surprising. How had Judith saved so much money?

She explained to him. Her job was well paying and she was a good saver. Never bothered to spend much money on Liam or Clive and she also had had a rich father who left her an inheritance when he died. Therefore she had ended up with over a million in savings

Sean was both impressed and delighted. He asked Judith if she had a will

''No i never thought about it'' She said

''I think you should make a will and leave all your money to me in the event of an early or unexpected death'' Sean said

Judith was very surprised by this and wondered why Sean would say such a thing
