THE HEADMASTER FROM HELL

Part 11 - FOOTBALL AND DETENTION

Michelle was waiting in a room at the police station when a scruffy overweight detective walked in

''Good afternoon i'm Inspector Grace'' he said ''I was told you had a serious complaint to make?''

''Yes Inspector i must report child abuse'' Michelle said and Grace already had his note book out

''Go ahead'' he said

''My husband Sean is a headmaster at a boys school. He abuses those boys and he also abuses his son Matthew''

Daniel had gone, a few weeks ago, to the football academy to stay in the boarding school there

He was extremely unhappy there and wanted to go back to the monastery. Daniel had slipped into a bad depression and wasn't training very hard

Mr Harris was fed up with him

''I'll have to kick you out if you carry on like this'' He told Daniel

Daniel began to cheer up and had an idea in his head. This was the solution then. Just carry on performing badly and Harris would boot him out. There wasn't much Sean could do about it then

Michelle had finished telling Grace everything

''So in my opinion the boy Matthew would be safer going home to his mother'' she said ''and Sean must be fired as a headmaster and those boys at the school should have someone decent''

''Ok well thank you for reporting this'' Grace said ''we will look into it''

''Well i hope you do. Matthew in particularly needs to be taken away from him so that he can't abuse him anymore. At least the boys in the school get a break from him but for poor Matthew there is no break at all''    

Mr Harris decided to call Sean to discuss Daniel

''Oh hello Mr Harris'' Sean said when he answered the call

''I am calling about Daniel'' Harris said 

''Oh yes how is he getting on at the academy? Well i hope''

''That is the thing he is doing badly. Very badly''

Sean was concerned to hear this ''oh?''

''He isn't making any effort with the training and if you ask me he is depressed and doesn't want to be here. The thing is unless he improves soon i'll have to terminate the contract. It's no good you know. I expect a lot from my boys and i'm not getting anything even close from Daniel''

''Look maybe if i came to speak to him i could find out why he is depressed and maybe solve whatever is wrong with him and talk him into trying harder'' Sean suggested

''Ok you can come and do that but unless it works then Daniel will have to go''

Sean was angry but not surprised. He had a feeling Daniel would do this when he went to the academy. But Sean really wanted to make Daniel, or at least if not Daniel then some other boy, into a football star. He wanted to be the manager of a huge star and make money out of it and be congratulated by people

Later on Sean took a group of year 7's for a P.E Lesson. Although he was headmaster now he was still taking P.E classes.

James was in the class and Sean remembered giving him 1000 lines and James doing detention with Liam. James had kept his head down and behaved pretty well since then. Sean liked the boys who learned their lesson like that. It showed they had some sense at least. James had to be a more sensible boy than Liam or Reece for example since those two were always managing to provoke Sean again
