"Father. Father. Father." Esteban called him as Apollo poked his side. "Why won't he just get up?"

"What makes you think we know?"

The siblings were standing over their father who was still in bed despite it being afternoon.

"Dad. Daddy. Daddy. Daddy. Daddy!" Eclipse started shaking him. "GET UP!!"

"I'm awake! I'm awake! Thea, darling, what is it?"

"'ama's been asking for you for the past half hour." Esteban said, crossing his arms.

"Essie, how much sleep did you get? You're shortening words again."

"'m not."

"Oh, so that's why your sister was yelling at me like when she was 6 again. Alright. Tell your mother I'll be down there in a few minutes."

"A'right."

The siblings started heading toward the door before he said, "Thea can you hang back a bit?"

"Uhh sure?"

"Good luck."

"Shut up." She walked back to his bed and sat in the chair he was using as a bookshelf. "What'd you need?"

"What's been bothering you so much?"

"What? Um, I guess my friends trying to find out every single little thing about my life has been pretty annoying."

"I have something I'm trying to figure out."

"Yeah?"

"Why didn't you come back sooner?"

"Oh." she started messing with her braid and looked anywhere but her dad's face. "I- well I wasn't sure I could- should... you left me."

"Is that what you think?"

"Well yeah why else would those people come to get me yet you never came back!"

"I shouldn't have left you alone in the field your mother tries to kill me every few weeks over that fact. But I had gone to the marketplace to get your present when I was attacked. They knocked me unconscious and I guess went after you. I want you to know I would never truly leave you."

"But- but why didn't you come back?"

"I did. For years. But you were never there."

Eclipse sat back in her chair and buried her face in her hands.

Nine years... nine years of thinking her parents hated her, that her dad left her, because of her "second Semblance" and it turned out she was wrong the entire time.

She could've come back the entire time but she was too stupid to realize.

"I wanted to come back." she whispered. "I really did. I was just stupid."

"You were a child, αγαπητή μου. You only knew what you saw."

"I'm sorry ο μπαμπάκας! I should've come home but- I- I-" she hiccuped through her words as she started to cry. She truly couldn't remember the last time she cried. "I thought you h-hated me. And-"

"Shh. come here." Zeus pulled her up to sit with him and cradled her. "I could never hate you Thea. Σ' αγαπώ."

"Σ' αγαπώ."

Cinder paced around the small room she had rented. Neo watched her clearly bored.

"If the Grimm one is actually an heiress then we have a way in." she looked at Neo who waved a hand for her to continue. "The Kamiyas are famed weapons engineers, that explains her old weapon, and they're rich which means they'll hold a banquet."

Neo held up the flier they found and pointed to the word "gala". Cinder rolled her eyes.

"Fine, gala. Regardless it's a public event all you have to do is disguise us for long enough to get in, get the relic, kill the Rose, and get out. Think you can do it?"

Neo pulled her in front of the mirror and touched her arm transforming her appearance to that of a platinum blonde woman with blue-green eyes. She smirked and watched her turn back.

"Good. Now let's pack up. It's a long ride to Kamiya Manor."
