Eclipse flew through the air for a few more seconds before pulling out her guns and firing to give herself a boost. Falling faster and faster towards the ground, she stretched her arms past her head and once she hit the ground did a back handspring and landed perfectly on her feet.

"And she sticks the landing," Eclipse said to herself. She shook her hands out a bit rubbing her wrists as she let her Aura surround her normally. "Pretty far into the forest, let's see..."

She started off going east and continued until she encountered an Ursa. Eclipse unsheathed her twin swords and stood, prepared to fight, but then a chain scythe flew past her face and into the Ursa's chest.

As it dropped to the ground Eclipse turned to the weapon's owner. "Y'know Cat, I had that completely under control."

"You hesitated." Blake went and grabbed her weapon. "Are you ever going to stop calling me Cat?"

"Nope!" Blake rolled her eyes, smiling slightly.

"We still have to find the temple," she said.

"Then let's go!" Eclipse then sauntered off making Blake shake her head before following her.

"How much farther do you think we have left?" Eclipse asked her new partner.

They had been walking in a comfortable silence for the past several minutes before the question came to mind.

"I'm not su-"

"Geeeez, you two couldn't hit the broad side of a ba..." they heard a familiar voice say.

"You..." Yang closed her violet eyes, then opened them to reveal red, making the Ursai look at each other confusedly before Yang screamed, "You monster!!!"

An inferno surrounded Yang for a moment, and she rocketed forward, unleashing a devastating combo of flaming hits and blows on the offending Ursa, making it fly through several burning trees. The other monster ran over, but stopped short at Yang's gaze while a tree fell to the ground behind her.

"What! You want some, too?!"

The Ursa reared up and prepared to strike... right when a whirling noise was heard and the monster made a befuddled noise, falling down a second later to reveal the two others, Eclipse with her Queen's Cavalry in its third form, in the beast's back.

Yang panted in exhaustion while Eclipse retrieved the weapon, sheathing it on her belt and smirking at Yang. Yang, now purple-eyed again, spoke to her new partners over the smoking remains of the monster.

"I could've taken him."

Eclipse nodded in response, still smirking. "Now let's find that temple."

From the forest, Yang, Eclipse, and Blake stepped out into a clearing that revealed the circular stone temple, broken and decrepit but for the platforms around its inside, holding several black and gold objects.

"Think this is it?" Yang asked the other two.

In response, Blake gave Yang an incredulous look and headed down the hill, her partners following. They walked across the floor and observed the items on each pedestal, now shown to be familiar shapes.

Blake looked at a black king, confused, "Chess pieces?"

Eclipse picked up a black queen and pocketed it.

"Some of them are missing," Yang noticed. "Looks like we weren't the first ones here."

"Well, I guess we should pick one."

Yang approached one of the relics.

"Hmmmm..." She studied the golden knight, then picked it up and showed it to the two black haired teens. "How about a cute little pony?"

"I believe that the proper term is 'knight'," Eclipse corrected her.

"Eh, doesn't matter." Yang shrugged.

"Sure." Blake smirked at the two's interaction. They walked towards each other to the center of the temple floor.

"That wasn't too hard!" Yang exclaimed.

"Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find." Blake commented. They all shared a smile.

Eclipse then sensed something close by and started looking around for it.

"What is she-?"

"Don't worry," Yang said, watching Eclipse walk around the temple. "She's just looking for something."

A few minutes later, a scream was heard all the way from the temple, where Yang turned towards the direction of its source.

"Some girl's in trouble! Guys, did you hear that?"

Neither answered, Blake, staring at something in the sky, and Eclipse, still searching for something.

Blake was still staring at something above them, but Yang was focused on the forest.

"Guys, did you not hear that?" Yang turned to her partners "What should we do?"

Finally, a faint-but-growing-louder scream was heard as someone fell from the sky and, presumably was going to crash to the ground.

"Heads uuuuuuuup!"
