"Why are you sulking?"
"I'm grounded."
"For how long?"
"For-til dinner."
"For-til dinner?"
"For-til dinner."
Weiss gave her... girlfriend? Best friend? There was no real label for them yet, they hadn't discussed one. They knew how they felt about each other and that was it.
But, regardless, she gave her an amused look as she sat curled up in the corner, yellow roses sprouting all around her. Weiss came up to her side and sat down.
"Yellow roses? Gods, you're so dramatic."
"I was betrayed." she muttered, touching a vine and creating another rose. "I think they're fitting."
"They also mean jealousy don't they? I'm surprised you didn't create any of these when Neptune was around."
"I wasn't jealous, he's just the worst."
"And you also didn't threaten him at the dance."
"You heard me?"
"No but I could judge by his face that you said something."
Eclipse looked at her and handed her a white rose. "I just told him that if he hurt you I'd kill him. Mentally."
"Thea."
"What? It wasn't even that bad of a threat, it's nothing like Apollo and Esteban."
"Where are Apollo and Esteban?"
"Their rooms. They're also grounded."
"For-til dinner?"
"Yep." Eclipse nodded. "I was supposed to be watching them but I forgot and they went 'missing' so when they showed up again Dad freaked out and grounded all three of us. He took my tablet too and I was trying to design a new weapon."
"What kind?"
"Another transforming one. A sword, spear, and bow."
"It sounds beautiful." She tucked a rose behind her ear and it turned lavender. She forgot that could happen. "Is it anything like Queen's Cavalry?"
"It's kind of based after Θεία's weapon. Covered in the symbols of Persephone."
"Flowers?"
"And a few pomegranate seeds. Fake of course."
A loud bang sounded from downstairs.
Seemed like a normal noise in the Kamiya household.
"I'm back~!" The front doors slamming against the walls announced the arrival of the oldest Kamiya.
"Is that..."
"Speak of the devil."
Eclipse and Weiss walked out of their room where they saw the rest of the teams, Qrow, and Maria. They walked down the stairs to see a tall woman standing in the foyer.
She was wearing a white feather boa, black cocktail dress, silver sparkly heels, and diamond jewelry. Her eyes were hidden behind designer sunglasses.
"Tyche." Zeus sighed. He was still tired from his children and had his apron on. "Tell me your luck kept you from breaking my doors again."
"Oh c'mon μικρός αδερφός you're acting like I've broken them before."
"That's because you have. Both of them. Twice."
