"Ozpin!"

"Miss Kamiya." Ozpin nodded.

They were back in the manor after Eclipse had gotten the powers under control enough to hide them and Ironwood was properly filled in. Now she was busy yelling at the most insufferable man in Remnant.

And considering she grew up in close proximity to Jacques Schnee that was saying something.

"What do you mean I can't just transfer them to Winter?" she hissed. She was sure her eyes were red again. "You had them transferred to Pyrrha."

"Yes but that was with a machine specifically designed for doing so. That machine is destroyed and considering you will not be dying anytime soon, you will be the Winter Maiden."

"No no no no no. I am the vessel of a god. I am not a goddamn maiden!" She was pacing at this point. "Are you telling me it's either I become both of those things or die with Winter as the last person I think of? Those are my options?"

"Quite astute of you."

"Okay listen to me smartass, I can and will find a way to get you out of Oscar's body and kill you once and for all, don't test me. Now be helpful."

"I don't know what else to tell you, Miss Kamiya."

"Eclipse. It's weird for you to call me that in Oscar's body." She cringed. "Now I have to talk to my least favorite person in Remnant and get her two cents on this whole situation. Wonderful!"

"It is not as bad as you think, Mi– Eclipse," Ozpin tried to reason with the teenager who was currently running a hand through her wild curls. "Embrace the powers and you will be able to protect your family even more easily now."

Eclipse sighed. "Fine, I'll do it."

Ozpin smiled. "Nice to see you come to your senses."

"Oh no I meant finding a way to transfer these powers and breaking your fucking nose."

"Pardon–" he was cut off by her socking square in the face, silver and onyx rings hardening the blow.

"Oscar, come see me when that asshole gives you your body back." She pulled her jacket back on and left the room.

Eclipse climbed the stairs to her and Weiss' room. She knocked as if it wasn't her room first and heard a soft, "Come in" before walking in. Weiss was lying beneath the covers with her hair down and looked like she had been sleeping.

"Tired?" Eclipse asked.

"Just thinking. You're hiding something from me." She froze. "From all of us."

If there was one thing Weiss was good at, it was reading Eclipse. That shouldn't be such a shock though they had known each other since before they could walk after all. Still it could be annoying when Eclipse had so many things she didn't want her girlfriend to know.

Were they girlfriends? That was another thing they needed to talk about.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about, mí amor." Eclipse kissed her forehead.

"Then take off your gloves."

"No." Her response was immediate, almost panicked, but it got the message across. Weiss was right. "Fine, I'm hiding a little something, but it's nothing big."

She looked unconvinced. Weiss sat up and held her hand out. "Come here."

Eclipse met her on the bed and took her hand. "What is it?"

"I should be asking you that question." She ran her hand over the fabric covering Eclipse's arm. "I haven't seen you without these. Not since we were kids."
