Greenie night is a very needed night here. I mean if there was never any time to kick back we would literally go insane. If life was just work, work, work, we would actually collapse on the ground and never get up.

This was only Thomas's fifth one, and he for sure knew why they were the absolute best part of this place. The celebration, the fight ring, the fun conversations, the carefree atmosphere, the everything. Everything is great about Greenie night.

Thomas had recently found something he used to be disgusted by more tolerable now. Something that the night would ever be complete without.

Gally's special drink.

He had never actually been able to drink it without gagging, but I guess he had grown used to it. That was good. It's nice that he's not about to spit it out every time he gets a taste.

Right now it was my favorite part of the night. It was the wind down time. People were heading off to bed, and everyone who was still up was sitting in a circle around the fire with a simple game of truth or dare.

"Y/N, truth or dare?"Minho asked, nodding his head towards me.

"Truth,"I shrugged, taking a quick sip of my drink.

"You're so boring,"He insisted, a teasing smile on his lips.

"No she's not,"Thomas argued. Rolling my eyes, I just continued running my fingers through his hair as he kept his head on my lap.

"Is it true Thomas is being annoying right now?"He asked.

"Y/N is not annoying."

"Shhh. Go to sleep,"I hushed, not wanting him to keep being defensive over me, even if the statement wasn't even meant for me. "And no. It's not,"I answered as he started playing with my hands, running his fingers over my palms and fidgeting with them. "Fry, truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"You're all boring."

"No she's not,"Thomas repeated, his eyes half shut against his will.

"On second thought, I'm taking him to bed,"I sighed, sitting him up and wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

"Don't have too much fun now."

"Oh, be quiet Minho,"I scolded, standing up while making sure Thomas was leaning against me. And lean against me he did, practically attached to my hip. To be fair, he had been the entirety of the evening.

"Are you gonna stay with me?"He slurred out as I brought him past some sleeping Gladers and to his hammock.

"Yes. I am,"I nodded, helping him stumble into bed first. With just a little bit of effort I managed to get him where he definitely needed to be. While I did have to hold it for a second so he didn't fall on the floor and bust his skull open, he managed to adjust just enough.

"Stay with me,"He demanded, holding his arms out. With another sigh, I squeezed beside him. Still not being satisfied, he pulled me close to him, burying his face in my neck and mumbling something incoherent before pressing quick kisses to my skin. Still, I knew him enough to know exactly what he said.

"I love you too, Thomas. I love you too."
