I was doing everything not to cry as I sat on my bed. There was nothing but pain. Maybe not physically, but I would prefer that. Emotionally, I was absolutely destroyed.
"Hey. Are you okay?"A girl asked. I did my best to hide my tears as I nodded.
"The first night is always the hardest,"She assured me, sitting on my bed.
"I hope you're right,"I muttered.
'I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I am. Right Sonya?"She asked. Another girl came and sat next to me.
"Yeah. I'm Sonya, and this is Harriet,"She introduced. I nodded again as I looked up a them. They seemed kind.
"Thank you. If you two say so then I believe you."
