The story of how Kristen changes from a rebellious daughter to discovering the kinds of things that are going on in Blackwood Academy is interesting. Of course, the element of forbidden love is included to make the readers more interested in Kristen and her choices, and the respective repercussions. The twist that the headmaster has a son who is a drop dead gorgeous professor, turned dangerous just spices up the tale even more.Grammar & Vocabulary: 4/5

Thus, one can find some minor shortcomings such as grammar, tense usage, or additional details needed to put the focus on some aspects of the plot; nevertheless, the story is action-packed and quite entertaining. If you are into forbidden love and mystery along with dark academia aesthetic, then "Whispered Obsessions" won't disappoint you.
