"Your clothes are in the bathroom. I washed them yesterday, so you can use them now."
Humikab ako habang kinukusot ang isang mata. Sinalubong ako ng nakangiting si Zamika. She's holding a glass while standing beside the kitchen island.
"Good morning," she greets. I nodded in response. "Come here, let's eat. I cooked breakfast for you."
There's fried rice, hatdogs, nuggets, and a scrambled egg.
"You don't drink coffee, right?" she asked, so I nodded. I'm kind of amazed because how did she still remember it? "Do you want milk?"
"Thanks," I smiled.
"Are you going to eat rice-"
"It's fine, I can do it." "I'm not a kid, Zamika.""I just want to help,"
"Oh yeah? By treating me like a baby?" I raised a brow and took a peek at her before chuckling.
"What happened last night?"
But instead of her getting offended by my question, she gave me a shy smile.
"Right. I don't have any of your friends' phone numbers, and when I tried to call Alex or Elaine, they didn't answer, so I had no choice but to bring you here. I hope it's okay with you."
"It's fine." Pasimple kong hinilot ang sentido ko. I was expecting worse, to be honest.
"Do you feel dizzy?"
"I have a medicine."
I chuckled. "I just have a hangover. Don't overreact." Humigop ako sa gatas na tinimpla niya. "This one's good."
"T-Thanks," she smiled, now hiding her face by looking down at her plate.
Nonetheless, I decided to ignore it and just continue eating, even though I find our situation weird. I never imagined myself having breakfast with her since she's my ex and our history with each other wasn't really good. She cheated on me, then ghosted me.
"You changed my clothes last night?" I decided to open a conversation after a long silence.
"Wala."
Pagtapos naming kumain, dumiretso ako sa banyo para makiligo at mag toothbrush. She said she had a spare toothbrush in her cabinet, so that's what I used.
Also, her clothes weren't my thing.
"Can we still meet after this?"
I was taken aback by her sudden question. Nandito na kami ngayon sa underground parking.
"Why not?" I asked while putting my cap on my head. I always wear this to hide my face in public. Fans can go a little crazy, 'ya know?
"Are you sure?" "I-I mean, I get it if you're mad at me because of what I did."
"It's all in the past, Zam. We're okay now."
