Chapter 53 - Ass Kicking and Collapsing Floors.

Megan POV

It was only after Draco took off, that the war started to get intense.

Which is good since I was starting to get a bit bored.

I'm such a bad person.

I ducked as a deep blue light flew past my head, only missing me by a mere millimeter.

I looked down to the beautiful ring that Draco had just given me, that was now resting peacefully on my left ring finger. Smiling at it, I gently kissed it before speaking aloud, "Lets go kick some ass."

Within fifteen minutes, I found myself in a dark broom closet, squishing myself as close as possible up against the wall.

I really don't know how much time had passed, but at some point I came to the conclusion that I had to go out and fight, even if I was scared shitless.

Speaking of shit.

I have to shit.

After finishing taking a shit, I got my wand out and mentally prepared myself to actually kick some Death Eater ass.

Almost as soon as I walked out of the closet (oh god that doesn't sound the way that it's supposed to.) Okay, almost as soon as I walked outside, a curse was shot at me. And lets just say that I'm lucky to still be alive.

I shot the first thing that came to mind in the general direction that it had come from.

Who knows if it actually hit someone.

I was surrounded by Death Eaters.

"Uh, hi," I spoke shyly. I'm done for it.

Someone walked up behind the group, "Well what are you waiting for? Someone attack her! The rest of you get going!" the man exclaimed.

There was a curse shot at me which I ducked away from. Everyone else cleared away and I noticed that I had nothing to worry about right now considering that I was now dueling Draco, who I was pretty sure wouldn't kill me, since I'm kinda his Fiance.

"So Draco, how's life?" I asked, shooting a badly aimed curse at him.

"Life's pretty good right now, not including the whole fighting in a war thing," he told me, sending a spell my way.

"Well obviously."

He then said in a voice only loud enough for me to hear, "Who's going to win this?"

"Well, lets just say that you'll be happy about it," I winked. "Don't you find it weird that I know so much about you without you even telling me?" I asked him.

He shrugged, "I guess I did at first, but I've kind of gotten used to it now."

For a while after that, we were just shooting curses back and forth. I kinda sorta ran out of ones that I know.

FAIL.

"Let this hit you," Draco told me.

I had gotten surprisingly good at dodging curses but not so much with blocking them.
