"Kid?" Andy's voice speaks. I pick up my head from the sidewalk, turning it to find Andy walking over with her hands shoving into her pockets. "Why are you outside?"

"Air I guess," I respond, keeping my spot on the concrete steps. Andy looks around, her brown eyes looking around the front of the station. "Caroline wanted to meet, I told her I was here." I finally say, the silence a little questionable. That caught Andy's attention though. She turns her head back to me. Our eyes meet and she tilts her head. She says nothing but instead takes her hands out of her pockets and walks closer to me. She slowly takes a seat beside me. Her elbows rest on her knees as she cups her hands together.

"It doesn't seem like you want to meet with her," Andy says gently. I shrug, looking down at the ground. "Plus, Vic said you've been out here for an hour. You been waiting that long?"

I bite the inside of my cheek, hesitantly nodding my head.

"Mija-" Andy whispers and wraps her arm around my shoulders, pulling me into her. I don't object. I just go with the movement, keeping my eyes down as my thumbs mess with each other. "Why don't you come in? It's starting to get dark."

"Yeah, I was about to. But it was quiet out here, letting me think," I tell the woman. Out of the corner of my eye I can see her brown ones trying to read me. Her hand squeezes my upper arm and she pulls me closer. A soft gentle kiss is placed on my head. "I really love her..."

I feel Andy nod, tears beginning to form in my eyes. "I know baby."

"She slept with Joey."

Instant silence takes over. Andy almost instantly reaches up her other arm and wraps it around the front of me. She interlocks her fingers and pulls me even closer to her. I close my eyes at the moment, leaning my head against her chest. Her chest falls. Rising up and down at a rather fast rate. I shake my head, biting my bottom lip.

"Mija, I don't mean to pry but is that why you two broke up?"

"No," I choke up. "It was after we broke up. Why...Why would they do that?"

Andy uncups her fingers. One of her hands go up to my head, resting it there. I squeeze my eyes together and Andy nods her head.

"I don't know baby. I don't know." She did know. I could tell she did. But maybe she didn't want to assume. I didn't exactly give Caroline the chance to explain. I left before she could. I just couldn't look at her anymore. They hooked up. Yeah, we weren't together but damn dude. It hurts. It hurts really fucking bad. Andy's hand moves down from my head but stays wrapped around me. "Did she explain why?"

"I left before she could," I let slip. Andy's chest rises and falls as if she took in a deep breathe then let it out. "Right...I left this morning, early when you and Ryan were asleep. I had to apologize to her for the breakup then she told me...about her and Joey."

"It was pouring this morning-" Andy pauses. We pull away and I reach my hand up to my face, rubbing at my eyes. They're full of tears and it soaks my hands, but I feel Andy reach over and place her hand on my knee. "Baby."

I turn my head and lock with her soft brown ones. "It won't happen again."

"Baby you're not in trouble," Andy whispers, her eyes shifting between mine. "I'm more concerned with the fact you went to her house in the pouring rain. You can get sick from that plus Caroline's house is a little way away. It's impressive you did that without me or your d- Ryan noticing. I also know you won't do it again. Sometimes when it comes to how our heart feels, we have to do certain things. As much as my head is saying that I'm pissed at Caroline, I also think you should hear her out if she's wanting to talk."
